The college invites applications from distinguished academicians to fill up the post of the Principal. The applicant should be a scholar of eminence with outstanding initiative and organizational ability. Online applications are invited in the prescribed application form available at web-link http://rec3.du.ac.in from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Principal at entry pay level 14 of 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. The qualification for the appointment of Principal in Colleges are in accordance with the UGC regulations and their subsequent amendments as adopted by the University of Delhi.
(i) Ph.D. Degree
(ii) Professor/ Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
(iii) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed of UGC-listed journals.
(iv) A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Annexure V (available on college/DU website).

Eligibility and Qualifications :- The minimum Qualification for appointment as Assistant Professor is Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clause (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document).
