Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for 6 posts of JRF/SRF in the field of Bioenergy. The research positions for JRF/SRF are purely contractual positions under the gambit of 'SSS-NIBE Bioenergy Promotion Fellowship'. The contractual tenure of JRF will be initially for a period of two years, can be extended based on performance (not more than five years). Similarly, the tenure of SRF will be for a period of three years extended for one more year.

The specific topics of the research areas for JRF/SRF are: (1) Syn Gas to Hydrogen separation, (2) Biochar (Green Coal) production, (3) Biogas production from Agro waste, (4) Biogas upgradation to Bio CNG, (5) Briquetting and Palletization of loose biomass for gasification, and (6) Hybrid Solar Biomass Systems

  2. Qualification/eligibilityPost Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET/GATE qualified. OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses selected through a process described through any one of the followings:• Scholar who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.• The selection process through National Level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies & Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.Qualification as prescribed for JRF + 2 years of research experience.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) : - Rs. 35000 per month (as per DST norms)

Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET/GATE qualified. OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses selected through a process described through any one of the followings:

• Scholar who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR/UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

• The selection process through National Level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies & Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
