Essential for Deputation  : 

Engineers from Central I State Govt. Departments I Organisations, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings, possessing a degree in Civil Engineering (or) Electrical Engineering as applicable with a minimum of 5 years regular service as Assistant Engineer (or) a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering as applicable with a minimum of 10 years regular sen/ice as Junior Engineer. Max. Age Limit: 56 Years. Period of Deputation : 5 Years.

Absorption method: A Deputationist possessing a degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering as applicable and who has worked as Assistant Engineer (Civil) I Assistant Engineer (Electrical) satisfactorily for a minimum period of 3 years in IMU, subject to concurrence from his parent organisation and his suitability for absorption being assessed by the Selection Committee.

Filling up two posts of Private Secretary (level-7) on deputation basis in Patents Office under office of the Controller General Patents, Designs and Trade Marks.

Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma appended below against two vacancy of Private Secretary in the Patents Office (Group "B" Gazetted) in the Level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400/-) in the Patents Office under the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Mumbai to be filled on deputation amongst suitable officers under Central Government. 1. Essential Educational Qualifications and Experience : Officers of the Central

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) with five years regular service rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the level-6 in pay matrix (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

(b) Possessing a speed of 100 words per minute in Stenography (English or Hindi) Duties : The duties of Private Secretary include maintenance of confidential papers of Controller General/ Head of Department/Head of Office, Maintenance of telephone registers, engagement diary with Controller General/Sr. Joint Controller/Joint Controller/Dy. Controller of Patent and Designs apart from typing decisions/orders of Sr. Joint Controller/Joint Controller/Dy. Controller. Marking letters addressed to Sr. Joint Controller/Joint Controller/Dy. Controller to the concerned officers for necessary action and attending to such other matters as are assigned.

Note-1 : The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. Note-2 : Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of application.
