No night duties. Leave will have to be adjusted with the other PTMO / PTMO (Emergency duty). Duty Rota will be prepared in advance.

2. Part Time Medical Officer (A) a. Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S. Degree from recognized university with one year experience as general duty medical officer. b. Honorarium / Salary : Rs.35000/- per month. c. Appointment Type : 28 hours per week on 89 days basis. Terminable by 1 day notice on either side.

3. Part Time Medical Officer (B) : a. Qualification & Experience : M.B.B.S. Degree from Indian Medical Council recognized university with one year experience. b. Honorarium / Salary : Rs.37,500/- per month with annual increment of 10%. c. Appointment Type : 30 hours per week on 89 days basis. Terminable by 1 day notice on either side. d. Working Hours : 5 hours in casualty -OPD from 06.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. - 6 days a week. The doctor will remain in the accommodation provided at the hospital during nights (11.00 p.m. to 08.00 a.m.) and will attend call if required (present frequency is about once a week). If the duty hours per week exceeds 30 hrs, extra payment on pro-rata basis will be made. Private practice will be allowed outside of working hours at the hospital. Duties : Walk-in OPD patients not requiring intensive care, assisting the emergency PTMO and the duty medical officer and taking charge of medical officer's duty, if he / she leaves the hospital for patient transfer. Accommodation : PTMO (B) will be provided with single accommodation in hospital. It will be mandatory to inform CMO if the doctor is not present in hospital accommodation during night.

  • A PDF will have a mentor whose area is closest to that of the PDF.
  • In addition to research, the Head of the Department may assign reasonable academic/administrative tasks depending on the need.
  • The Department must also agree to provide reasonable office and lab space to its postdoctoral fellows.
  • Financial support is provided for one international conference during the tenure of the fellowship for the presentation of their research work done at IIT Bombay.
  • Support for one national conference per year is also provided.

Eligibility

Candidates must have completed a degree / diploma / post graduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2020, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2020. Eligibility criteria for admission to various institutes may differ from the eligibility criteria for appearing for CEED. Before applying for CEED, candidates are advised to check whether they meet the required eligibility criteria for admission to various institutes. There is no age limit to appear for CEED. Besides, a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.

Registration

CEED registration form must be submitted ONLINE ONLY through the official website, www.ceed.iitb.ac.in

Registration fee:

• ₹ 1,300 for all women candidates

• ₹ 1,300 for (SC / ST / PwD) candidates

• ₹ 2,600 for all other candidates

Note that this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration fee has to be paid through the payment option provided on the website while submitting the registration form. Detailed instructions related to the payment of registration fee are given on the online registration portal. Credit card, debit card and net-banking options are available. The registration fee shown above DOES NOT INCLUDE service and other charges and the processing fees that the banks may levy. The normal registration fee shown above is applicable till the regular closing date of November 9, 2019, 23:55 hours.

A late fee of ₹ 500 is applicable to ALL candidates for registrations submitted after the regular closing date till November 16, 2019, 23:55 hours.

Admit cards

Examination Cities

CEED 2020 examination will be conducted in the following cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulam, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Visakhapatnam. Candidates should compulsorily choose 3 cities in the order of preference at the time of online registration. Once the registration form is submitted, request for a change of city will NOT be entertained under any circumstances. If a sufficient number of candidates is not available in a city, then it may be dropped from the final list and candidates will be allotted to a city of their second or third choice. The UCEED-CEED office reserves the right to add a new city or remove an existing one and allot a city that may not be among any of the choices of a candidate. A city may have more than one examination centre. In such cases, a request for change of a centre within the same city will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design

Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2019, or appearing in 2020, in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) are eligible to appear for UCEED 2020.

Eligibility:

Candidates who completed a degree or diploma program of min 3 years (after 10+2), or appearing for final examination of such a program by July 2020 (refer to the CEED 2020 Brochure for more details)

CRITERION 1 – AGE LIMIT:

The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1995 if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1990 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

CRITERION 2 – NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. Note that UCEED score is valid for one year, and only for admissions in the corresponding academic year.

CRITERION 3 – QUALIFYING EXAMINATION:

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2019, OR appearing in 2020. Students from ALL STREAMS (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2018 or earlier are NOT eligible

Reservation of Seats

Indian nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules of the Government of India. The categories and the extent of reservation are as follows:

• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) - 10% of seats.

• Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) – 27% of seats in the course. The name of the backward class should be in the current central list of OBCs (http://www.ncbc.nic.in). OBC-NCL certificates issued only from April 1, 2018 onwards are accepted.

• Candidates belonging to the creamy layer of OBC are NOT entitled for reservation. Such candidates are treated as belonging to the Open (i.e., unreserved) category.

• Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% of seats in the course.

• Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 7.5% of seats in the course.

• The benefit of reservation will be given only to those castes and tribes that are mentioned in the respective central list of corresponding states published by the Government of India. • The 5% reservation for Person with Disability (PwD) candidates is cycled over in a 4-year period, category-wise, as per rules pertaining to the admitting institute. If a PwD seat remains unfilled in a particular year, it will be reverted back to the category from which the PwD seat was assigned for that year.

• Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories will be declared as qualified on the basis of a relaxed criterion [see RANK LISTS].

• Unfilled seats in the OBC-NCL category can be allotted to OPEN category candidates whereas seats remaining vacant under the SC and ST categories shall NOT be allotted to candidates belonging to other categories.

• Leprosy-cured candidates who are otherwise fit to pursue the course are also included in PwD category.

• Candidates holding OCI/PIO cards are treated as belonging to the open (OPEN) category, and they will be eligible only for the seats for which everyone is eligible.

• Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO card holders are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories as specified herein.

• The category chosen by a candidate at the time of application for UCEED 2020 will be final and requests for any change of category will NOT be entertained at a later date.

UCEED is a test centre based examination of 3 hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:
