Civil Engineering Programme Office ( CEPO ) at ISRO Headquarters is Involved In the planning and designing of various ground based structures required for the Indian Space Programmes. ISRO Headquarters invites application for the post of Draughtsman ‘B’ (Civil) In the Pay Band of 15,200 – 20,200/- with Grade pay of 2,000/- In the Office of Civil Engineering Programme Office, Antariksh Bhavan, Bangalore.

Educational Qualification for Draughtsman Jobs in ISRO 2012 :

SSLC / SSC / Matric pass + ITI in Draughtsman ( Civil Trade )

Age limit for Draughtsman Recruitment in ISRO 2012 :

35 years as on 18.05.2012 ( 38 years for OBC Candidates ). SC / ST, Ex – Servicemen, Meritorious Sports persons, Persons with Disabilities, Widows and Divorced women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders.

Indian Space Research Organization Selection Process 2012 :

The qualification prescribed is the minimum ISRO requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible to take – up the trade test Based on bio – data, initial screening will be conducted to short – list candidates for trade test in drafting using autocad at ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore. ISRO Interview will be conducted at ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore for those who qualify in the trade test.

• The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Centres / Units of the Indian Space Research Organisation / Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.
• Candidates called for trade test / ISRO interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications. ISRO Satellite Centre Jobs for the post of Hindi Typist :

18 – 26 years as on 27.02.2012 ( 31 years in the case of SC / ST and 29 years in the case of OBC candidates ). Persons With Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders. Ex – Serviceman and Persons with disability are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.

Method of Applying for the ISRO Satellite Centre Post 2012 :

1. Indian Space Research Organization Recruitment Applications will be received online only. Those applying for more than one post should send separate ISRO Satellite Centre Job applications for each post. The ISRO Vacancies application for online registration will be hosted in the ISRO website between 06.02.2012 and 27.02.2012.

Candidates may visit ISRO Satellite Centre website at www.isro.gov.in to register their ISRO Exam 2012 applications online between 06.02.2012 and 27.02.2012. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.

2. The ISRO Vacancies 2012 online application has to be invariably followed up with a ‘ No Objection Certificate ‘ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central / State Government, Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or any organisation which is aided by Government, duly indicating the opening for which applied / post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse.

3. There will be an ISRO Satellite Centre Application Fee of 100/- ( Rupees one hundred only ) for each Indian Space Research Organisation Job application ( each post ) Demand Draft details need to be filled in at the time of ISRO satellite Centre online registration. Women, Scheduled Castes ( SC ), Scheduled Tribes ( ST ) and Persons with Disabilities ( PWD ) candidates are exempt from the payment of Application Fee subject to the conditions stipulated below.

4. The candidate before filing his / her ISRO Satellite Centre Bangalore Recruitment application has to take a DD for 100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore The applicant should enter the DD Number, date and name of the Bank in the space provided for the same in the web application. After filing the online application, the applicant has to send the DD with his / her Full Name ( as entered in the web application ), Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD.

5. Please note that the ISRO Satellite Centre Exam 2012 applications, in respect of which DDs have not been received with Name as mentioned in the ISRO online application and Registration Number on the reverse, will not be considered.

6. Women, SC / ST, and PWD candidates will have to send the certificate indicated against each category, as below, duly indicating the Name, Post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse : ISRO Application of candidates claiming Woman / SC / ST / PWD Status and therefore exemption from payment of ISRO Satellite Centre Application Fee will be considered only if the certificate, as below, is received within 10 days of filing of the ISRO Jobs 2012 online application and in any case not later than 07.03.2012.

Women Candidate : Attested copy of PAN Card / Voter’s ID Card / College ID Card / Passport / Driving License / Ration Card OR Gender status indicated in certificate issued by the Principal of the College where last studied.

SC / ST candidates : Attested copy of Caste Certificate.

Persons with disabilities ( PWD ) : Attested copy of Medical Certificate indicating extent of disability issued by Medical Board.

7. 8. If any information found in Indian Space Research Organization Vacancy Online application found to be wrong or false or incomplete, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.

Conditions / Instructions for ISRO Satellite Centre Recruitment 2012 :

1. Only Indian Nationals need apply.

2. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC should submit an attested copy of Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed Proforma applicable for reservation / Concessions of jobs under the Government of India.

3. Ex – servicemen have to submit an attested copy of the Discharge Certificate duly indicating the Ex – service status.

4. Sports persons who have participated in any of the recognized sports events will be given special consideration as per rules, if they fulfill other conditions.

5. Those who are already in employment under the Central Government / State Government / Public sector undertaking / Autonomous Body or any organisation which is aided by the Government should apply through Proper Channel.

6. Outstation candidates allowed for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of interview or Non – AC Bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Ticket Number (s) / PNR Numbers (s) or Non – AC Bus Ticket/s etc,. If a candidate travel in a higher class of accommodation than one prescribed by rail or by AIR, only SECOND CLASS rail fare excluding reservation/sleeper charges will be paid.

7. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. No interim correspondence will be entertained.

8. There will be an initial screening of applications based on factors such as qualification, percentage etc., vis-à-vis the number of applications and those screened in only will be called for Written/Trade/Skill test and Interview, as the case may be.
