a) Indian Coast Guard Applications will be accepted ‘Online only’ from 24 June, 2013 to 7th July, 2013. Candidates are to logon to and click on opportunities button. The important instructions for filling of Indian Coast Guard Online Application are :

i) The name of the candidate, father / mother’s name and date of birth should be as given in the 10th class certificate.

ii) Indicate exact percentage of 12th class upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off.

iii) Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate are compulsory. The date, time and venue of the test and other information will be informed through personal email ID and Coast Guard Recruitment website

iv) The Indian Coast Guard Application provides choice of two centres for examination. The candidates are to choose first and second choice from the same zone only. First and second choice from different zones will be rejected. The candidates from Mizoram, Assam, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Tripura will only be accepted for examination centres at Shillong and Aizwal. Candidates from North West zone and A&N zone will have only one choice of centre.

v) The Indian Coast Guard reserves the right to cancel any centre or change the centre of the candidates for administrative reasons.

b) To fill up Indian Coast Guard Online Application the candidates need to logon to the Website and click opportunity button and proceed as given below :

i) Select the advertisement for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment of Naviks (10+2 Entry) 01/2014 Batch.

ii) Select the post applied for : Indian Coast Guard Navik General Duty.

iii) Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and the ‘Indian Coast Guard Online Application Form 2013′ will be displayed.

iv) Proceed to fill up the Indian Coast Guard Application ( All Star ( * ) marked entries are compulsory and to be filled ).

v) On completion of filling Indian Coast Guard exam application, check your filled details once again prior clicking on the Submit button.

vi) On successful submission of the Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2013 online application a Application / Registration number will be provided to the candidate. The filled Application Form for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2013, with the number generated will be available to the candidate to save and take a print. For candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria, a ‘Rejection Slip, giving the cause of rejection with the Application Number will be displayed. The filled Indian Coast Guard Job Application Form 2013, with the roll number, date and time of exam generated will be available through URL from 25th July, 2013 to 10th August, 2013 post short listing of the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2013 Online Application.

vii) Candidates are required to print two copies of the application with number generated by the system. Both copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph are to be carried by the applicant to the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Centre on the date of examination.

viii) Out of the two copies one copy enclosed with photocopies of all required documents i.e. class 10th certificate / mark sheet showing date of birth, 12th class certificate along with mark sheet subjects, caste certificate wherever required duly attested by the Gazetted Officer shall also be carried by the candidate and submitted at the recruitment centre on the date of Indian Coast Guard Examination 2013. Second copy without any enclosure is to be kept with the candidate as an identity proof during the recruitment procedure. Any candidate who does not carry all these documents at the time of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2013 shall not be permitted to appear in the exam.

ix) Note : Filling of multiple applications will result in cancellation of all applications and Last date for applying online for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Exam 2013 : 7th July, 2013.
