GAIL will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – 2013 scores ( GATE – 2013 – Scores ) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the above disciplines during the year 2013.

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the position of Executive Trainee in the above disciplines in GAIL will be required to first apply for appearing in GATE 2013 and thereafter, appear in GATE 2013 as per instructions and timelines notified by GATE 2013 Organizing Institute in one of the following relevant GATE Examination Papers :

It may be noted that candidates having Engineering Degree in a branch / discipline other than as specified above are not eligible to apply.

Based on the GATE 2013 score and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for GAIL Group Discussion and / or Personal Interview for the position of Executive Trainees in the above disciplines. Please note that only GATE 2013 score is valid for this GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment Exercise. GATE score of 2012 or prior to that is not valid.

The candidates will receive their GATE 2013 Registration number printed on the Admit Card for GAIL Recruitment. On receipt / downloading of GATE 2013 Admit card with registration number for GAIL ET Vacancies 2013, candidates will have to separately apply online in GAIL indicating their GATE 2013 Registration Number on the career section of GAIL’s website www.gailonline.com. For this purpose, the relevant link will be made available from 11.12.2012 to 18.01.2013 in the career section of our GAIL’s website www.gailonline.com. It may be noted that GAIL ET Job Application without valid GATE 2013 registration number will be rejected.

Please ensure that the GATE 2013 Registration number which is mentioned on your GATE 2013 admit card is entered correctly in the GAIL Executive Trainee Vacancy Online Application. Name should be filled up as appearing in your GATE 2013 Admit card for GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment. No request with respect to making changes in any data / particulars entered by the candidate in the online application will be entertained once the GAIL GATE 2013 application is submitted successfully.

Candidates will be required to Apply Online through GAIL’ Website : www.gailonline.com only, indicating their GATE 2013 Registration Number.

No other means / mode of GAIL GATE 2013 Exam application shall be accepted. Website will be open from 1000 hrs on 11.12.2012 to 2400 hrs on 18.01.2013.

A Candidate can apply for one post / discipline only. Candidates applying for more than one post / discipline will not be considered.

After successful submission of GAIL GATE 2013 Exam online application by the candidate, a unique registration number shall be generated by the system and a message shall be displayed in the system that the GAIL GATE 2013 Online Application has been submitted successfully and an auto generated email mentioning the unique registration number shall reach to the candidate informing that his / her GAIL GATE 2013 for Executive Trainee Vacancy Application has been submitted successfully.

After GAIL GATE Applying Online 2013, candidate is required to take a print out of the GAIL GATE 2013 Exam Application Form generated by the system with unique registration number, space for affixing photograph and signature and other details. The candidate has to affix his / her recent passport size colour photograph and put his / her signature at the space provided and keep it with him / her safely. Candidates called for Group Discussion and / or Interview for GAIL Executive Trainee Vacancies will be required to produce the same documents at the time of GAIL Group Discussion and / or Interview.

The passport size photograph affixed by the candidate should be same as submitted along with GATE 2013 application form for GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2013. In case, the candidate is called for GAIL Group Discussion and / or Interview, he / she will be required to produce his / her original GATE 2013 admit card, GATE 2013 official score Card, printout of the online application form and other relevant documents which will be communicated through GAIL Interview Call Letter. In case, any candidate fails to produce the above documents at the time of Group Discussion and / or interview, his / her candidature will not be considered.

There is no separate fee for applying for the above posts of Executive Trainees in GAIL.

Before applying for the post, candidates should ensure that he / she fulfills the GAIL Executive Trainee Job Eligibility Criteria and other conditions mentioned in this GAIL ET Vacancies 2013 Advertisement. GAIL would be free to reject any application at any stage of the GAIL Execuitve Trainee Recruitment Process 2013, if the candidate is found ineligible for the post for which he / she has applied.

Furnishing of wrong / false / incomplete information in the GAIL Executive Trainee Vacancy Online Application will lead to disqualification of the candidate and GAIL will not be responsible for any of the consequences of furnishing such wrong / false / incomplete information. Since all the GAIL ET Recruitment 2013 Applications will be screened without documentary evidence / proof, the candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position to which they are applying. If at any stage during the GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment and GAIL ET Vacancies Selection Process and thereafter, it is found that the candidates have furnished wrong / false / incomplete information, their candidature will be rejected and any other action as deemed fit may be taken against them.

The candidates should ensure that they fulfill all GAIL ET Job Eligibility Criteria and other conditions as specified above and that the particulars furnished by them in the GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment Online Application are correct in all respects. Mere submission of GAIL ET Vacancies Online Application successfully does not imply that the Company ( GAIL ) has been satisfied about the candidate’s eligibility. Other Terms & Conditions and General Instructions :

Request for change of Mailing address / Email ID / category / discipline as declared in the GAIL executive Trainee Vacancy Online Application will not be entertained.

Candidates should possess a valid Email ID. Candidates are advised to keep the Email ID ( to be entered compulsorily in the GAIL Executive Trainee Job Online Application Form 2013 ) active for at least one year. No change in the Email ID will be allowed once entered. All future correspondence with candidates shall be done through Email only. Responsibilities of receiving, downloading and printing of information / communication etc. will be of the candidate. GAIL will not be responsible for any loss of Email sent, due to invalid / wrong Email ID provided by the candidate.

Category ( SC / ST / OBC / PWD ) once filled in the GAIL Executive Trainee Vacancy Online Application Form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on. The reserved category candidates and PWD candidates are required to submit requisite caste / tribe / PWD certificate in the prescribed format of Government of India, issued by Competent Authority, at the time of GAIl Interview, if called for the same.

The OBC candidates who belong to “ Creamy Layer ” are not entitled for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category as “ General ”. The OBC ( Non Creamy Layer ) candidates are required to submit requisite certificate ( latest ) in the prescribed format of Government of India issued by Competent Authority at the time of Interview for GAIL ET Recruitment 2013, if called for the same. The name of the Caste and Community indicated in the OBC ( NCL ) Certificate must appear in the Central List of Other Backward Classes. Further, OBC ( NCL ) candidates will have to give a self undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC ( Non Creamy Layer ) category at the time of GAIL Interview, if called for the same.

Relaxations / Reservations for SC / ST / OBC ( Non Creamy Layer ) / PWD ( Degree of disability 40% and above ) as per Government Directives are applicable.

Candidates employed in Central / State Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous bodies must produce No Objection Certificate ( NOC ) at the time of GAIL Group Discussions and / or Interview from their present employer, if they qualify for Group Discussions and / or Interview. In case, the candidate fails to produce the NOC from his / her present employer at the time of Group Discussions
and / or Interview, his / her candidature will not be considered.

GAIL reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards. The Management reserves the right to fill or not to fill all or any of the above positions without assigning any reason whatsoever. GAIL also reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge / modify / alter the GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment Process 2013, if need arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason whatsoever.

The prescribed qualifications and other GAIL Executive Trainee Job Eligibility Conditions are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to appear in the GAIL ET Recruitment Selection Process 2013. GAIL’s decision shall be final in this regard.

Any canvassing directly or indirectly by the applicant will disqualify his / her candidature.

Any dispute with regard to GAIL Executive Trainee Recruitment against this advertisement will be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi Court only.
