DAE Nuclear Fuel Complex Hyderabad Recruitment 2012

Applications are invited for the following posts from the eligible candidates in Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad, an industrial establishment under the Department of Atomic Energy ( DAE ).

The details of Department of Atomic Energy posts and the eligibility criteria for these posts are as specified below :

Post No. 2 :

Pay Structure for DAE Recruitment 2012 :

Technical Officers can take up the specified induction training as approved by the Competent Authority. On successful completion of the said training they may be considered for track change to “Scientific Officer” at the time of next promotion.

Candidates with additional relevant experience and good performance at the DAE recruitment interview may be considered for grant of a maximum of 5 advance increments. In addition to the pay indicated above, the selected candidates will be entitled for other allowances as admissible under Central Government Rules such as House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance as per rates applicable at the place of posting.

The status of DAE recruitment against the above advertisement such as applications screened in for DAE interview / select list will be made available on NFC website from time to time.

General Conditions for Department of Atomic Energy Recruitment 2012 :

1. Candidates will be required to attend in round the clock shift duties.

2. The selected candidates will be posted at Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad or in Zirconium Complex, Pazhayakayal, Tuticorin District, Tamilnadu or NFC, Kota or to any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy in India.

3. Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfill all the eligibility norms. The candidates should have the requisite Educational / Technical qualifications from recognized University / Institute as on the date of submission of the application and should enclose with their applications Marksheets of SSC, HSC, BE / B.Tech ( All semesters and consolidated mark sheet copies ), Degree Certificate, Date of Birth, Experience Certificate duly attested by Gazetted Officer.

4. On their appointment they will be governed by New Contributory Pension Scheme as notified by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide Notification No.F.No.5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22.12.2003.

5. All the above advertised posts are classified as Scientific / Technical and their promotions to the next higher grades are governed by the merit promotion scheme existing in the Department of Atomic Energy.

6. The selected candidates should undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board, Nuclear Fuel Complex and their appointment is subject to their medical fitness to be certified by the Medical Board, NFC. Night / Colour blindness will be a disqualification.

The DAE Recruitment 2012 applications should be accompanied by non refundable crossed Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft Payable at Hyderabad drawn in favour of “ Pay & Accounts Officer, NFC, Hyderabad ” for 250/-. Women candidates, disabled Defence Service personnel and dependents of Defence Service personnel killed in action and ex – service men and physically challenged persons are exempted from payment of DAE application fee. Attested copy of a certificate to this effect should be attached with the DAE Recruitment 2012 application.

Department of Atomic Energy Recruitment 2012 Application Form :

Fill up all columns of the DAE Vacancy 2012 Application Form Carefully.

1. The Department of Atomic Energy Job application in the prescribed format as available on NFC website, preferably typewritten on A4 size paper ( 30 cms X 21 cms ) should be submitted and outer cover should be superscribed “ Application for the post of _______________ under Post No.______” against “ Advertisement No. NFC/02/2012 ”.

2. Photograph :

A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the DAE Recruitment application form 2012.

3. Persons working under the Central / State Government / Public Sector Undertakings should submit their DAE Vacancy 2012 applications through proper channel. They may, however, send one advance copy of the Department of Atomic Energy Vacancy 2012 application along with enclosures as detailed above and in that case the candidates have to submit a ‘ No Objection Certificate ’ from their present employer at the time of appearing for DAE written test / interview or otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for Department of Atomic Energy interview 2012.

4. Age Limit for DAE Recruitment 2012 :

Age will be reckoned as on the last date of Department of Atomic Energy Job application for all the posts advertised.

a) Relaxation for Ex – servicemen will be provided as per rules.

b) Relaxation for Physically Challenged persons ( physical disability of 40% and above onwards ) up to 5 years.

c) Relaxation of age up to 5 years to regular Central Government Servants working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres.

5. Traveling Allowance :

The candidates called for DAE interview from outstation will be paid to and fro rail fare by Second Class / Sleeper or actual fare whichever is less.

Warning :

Department of Atomic Energy Recruitment 2012 Application which is illegible, incomplete, unsigned, not in prescribed format, without photo of candidate, not enclosing attested Xerox copy of certificates, which is received after the last date prescribed is liable to be rejected. If the post applied for is not indicated on the top of the envelope & the application, the same will not be entertained.

Short listing :

Only such of those candidates who in the opinion of NFC, suit the organizational requirements, will be called for DAE interview. Mere fulfillment of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not entitle a candidate to be called for Department of Atomic Energy interview 2012. In case the response is more, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks and experience wherever prescribed by the Competent Authority in NFC. The shortlisted candidates will be called for DAE interview and all those having lesser percentage of marks may not be called for Department of Atomic Energy interview 2012.

No correspondence from the candidates not selected for DAE interview / appointment in this regard will be entertained.

8. NFC reserves the right to fill up the post or alter the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of Department of Atomic Energy recruitment without assigning any reasons.

Last Date for receipt of DAE Recruitment 2012 applications will be reckoned three weeks from the Date of publication of advertisement in Employment Newspaper ( Dated on 15th – 21st September 2012 ). Department of Atomic Energy Vacancy 2012 Applications received beyond this date will be rejected.
