The RRC NE Railway written examination for the Group ‘ D ’ posts, vide employment notice number NER/RRC/D/02/2010 Dated 15/12/2010 will be held on the dates given below. The candidates shall be called as per the first alphabet of name as mentioned in the RRC North Eastern Railway Group D Exam application form 2012.

The RRC NE Railway Group D Exam Call Letters for above North Eastern Railway Group D Written Examination have been issued by post to all eligible candidates. The eligible candidates who don’t receive their original RRC NER Railway Group D Exam call letters, can apply personally in Camp Office of RRC in premises of DRM Offfice, N.E Railway, Hajratgani, Lucknow according to their Ist letter of English alphabet for their duplicate copy of North Eastern Railway Exam call letter on above Schedule date at 10:00 hrs. to 18:00 hrs. along with two photographs as pasted on their RRC NE Railway Group D Exam application form and obtain duplicate NE Railway call letter to appear in the RRC North Eastern Railway Group D Written Examination 2012.

Request for RRC NER Railway Group D Exam duplicate call letters will not be entertained for above examination after above scheduled date & time. Request for change in date, time & place of above examination will not be considered.

North Eastern Railway Group D Written Examination 2012 :

a) NE Railway Group D Exam Question Paper shall be of 10th ( High School ) standard consisting of 150 multiple choice ( four options ) objective type questions to asses the General Knowledge / awareness / mathematics / reasoning etc.

b) Duration of RRC NE Railway Group D Written Exam Shall be 2 hours.

c) Each NE Railway Group D Exam Question will carry ( 01 ) one mark and 1 / 3rd of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer / multiple answer i.e. one mark shall be deducted for three wrong answers.

d) RRC NE Railway Group D Exam Question Paper Shall be printed in Hindi, English, and Urdu.

e) The time of RRC North Eastern Railway Group D written examination is 9:30 am to 11:30 am for Ist shift & 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm for IInd shift. Candidates should reach their RRC NE Railway Group D examination centre atleast half an hour prior to start of examination i.e. before 09:00 am & 02:00 pm.

f) Candidates should mark their answers only in OMR sheets provided to them by marking bubbles. They should bring blue / black ball point pen with them.

3. Video Photography for each room of each centre will be done to ensure transparency.

4. OMR answer sheet shall be used for written examination and computer evaluation through computer shall be done.

5. Railway Recruitment Cell neither conduct any coaching classes nor recommend any books for reference nor have authorised any persons / agencies to recruit or train on its behalf.

6. Candidates attempting to use influence or unfair means shall straight way be disqualified.
