Requirement of Civil Engineers ( Executives ) on deputation / Contract / Re – Employment Basis :

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ( DMRC ), a joint venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid transit System for Delhi. In addition to the above DMRC has also been entrusted the work of preparation of DPR for the High Speed Rail Link Project of Indian Railways at Trivandrum and the Monorail Project at Kozikode.

DMRC Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and motivated Civil Engineers, for Detailed Project Report work of High Speed Rail Link at Trivandrum and Mono Rail work at Kozikode of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. The appointment shall be on deputation / contract / re – employment basis ( in regular pay scale with other benefits ).

The number of DMRC Vacancies shown above is tentative and may undergo a change.

i) Serving Dy. HODs in Govt / PSU who are above the age group of 55 years can also apply for the above post of DGM on re – employment basis. They will be recruited on re – employment terms till the age of superannuation. The last pay drawn ( Basic + DA ) will be protected and annual increments will be allowed.

ii) Officer with longer length of service ( 17 years ) and presently at E4 level for more than 3 years may be considered for JGM level in grade 36600 – 62000/-.

iii) DMRC employees fulfilling the eligibility criteria and interested to work at High Speed rail Link Project of Indian Railways at Trivandrum and at the Monorail Project at Kozikode can also apply.

Eligibility criteria for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited Vacancies 2012 :

a) Qualification for Civil Engineer Job in DMRC 2012 :

BE / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering or equivalent in Civil / Electrical / Electronics Engineering ( respectively ) / Equivalent with minimum aggregate 60% marks / CGPA / GPA and should have secured 1st Division.

b) Age as on 01.07.2012.

i) 55 years for Deputation and Contract.

The employees to be taken on contract will serve for maximum 5 years. If the project at Trivandrum and Kozikode is completed and the management feels that the officer’s services can be utilised at some other project within the officer’s contractual employment period, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited Management will reserve the right to transfer him at such project.

ii) Above 55 years of age for serving Govt / PSU personnel on Re – employment basis.

c) Experience ( as on the last date of receipt of DMRC Civil Engineer Job Applications ) :

For DGM ( Civil / Electrical / Signal & Telecom ).

Group – A Officers working in Senior Scale in grade 15600 – 39100 ( Grade pay 7600 ) are eligible to apply or The officer who has worked as Group A officer in Govt. and was in the Senior Scale /grade of 15600 – 39100 ( Grade pay 7600 ) before leaving the Govt service. He should have worked in Govt service for minimum 6 years starting his career as Group – A officer are eligible to apply.

PSU officers working in E4 i.e IDA pay scale 29100 – 54500 / or equivalent CDA pattern DMRC Pay Scales with minimum 13 years of service ( starting from E2 level ) are eligible to apply or The officer who has worked in E4 i.e IDA pay scale 29100 – 54500 / or the equivalent CDA pattern pay scales with minimum 13 years of service ( starting from E2 level ) are eligible to apply.

PSU / Govt Officers working as Executive Engineers / Managers and in grade 24900 – 50500 /- ( IDA ) with 04 years or equivalent CDA pattern pay scales with total 13 years of Executive service in the PSU service / Govt service ( starting from E2 level ) are also eligible to apply.

The candidates meeting the Eligibility criteria i.e. Qualification, Age and Experience may apply. If the experience is not found relevant, then the candidate may not be called for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited Interview 2012.

DMRC Civil Engineer Recruitment 2012 Selection Procedure :

Names of short listed candidates along with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Interview schedule will be put up on our website by or on 03.10.2012. We intend calling about 05 times the number of candidates than the number of DMRC Civil Engineer Vacancies 2012. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Interview will be held tentatively on 18.10.2012. The DMRC Selection Process will consist of Paragraph writing, interview and Group Discussions.

Demand Drafts payable at locations other than Delhi / New Delhi will not be accepted. MO / PO or any other mode of payment is not acceptable.

Candidates are advised to check the details of Demand Draft carefully before enclosing it with the DMRC Civil Engineer Job Application Form 2012.
