BMRC Bangalore Experienced Officers Eligibility 2015

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited invites applications from qualified and experienced Officers for appointment to key senior, middle / junior level Engineering / Management positions in the Project Wing. All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only.

Dy. Chief Engineer :

Discipline : Design.

Posts : 02 ( Two ) Posts.

Qualification : B.E. Civil / ME ( Structures ) preferred.

Experience : Minimum 15 years experience in designing of pre stressed concrete bridges / viaducts for Metros / Railways / Highways. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Metro.

Executive Engineer :

Discipline : Design.

Posts : 02 ( Two ) Posts.

Qualification : B.E. Civil / ME ( Structures ) preferred.

Experience : Minimum 12 years experience in designing of pre stressed concrete bridges / viaducts for Metros / Railways / Highways. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in Metro.

Dy. General Manager :

Discipline : Architecture.

Posts : 02 ( Two ) Posts.

Qualification : B. Arch. / M.Arch preferred.

Experience : Minimum 15 years of total architectural design experience out of which at least 7 years experience should have been on mega infrastructure projects. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

The candidate should be well experienced in the architectural design. Shall be conversant with the procedures for obtaining statutory clearances from local authorities. Candidate need to effectively coordinate with other inter disciplinary departments and the detailed design consultants / sub consultants.

Manager :

Discipline : Architecture.

Posts : 02 ( Two ) Posts.

Qualification : B. Arch. / M.Arch preferred.

Posts : 01 ( One ) Posts.

Qualification : BE ( Civil ).

Experience : Overall experience of 15 years and minimum 7 years experience in dealing with Tender & Contracts Management for mega infrastructure works with International financial funding including preparation of Tender documents, evaluation of tenders, contract management and arbitration. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling of contracts in Metro rail projects.

Manager :

Discipline : Contracts.

Posts : 02 ( Two ) Posts.

Qualification : BE ( Civil ).

Experience : Overall experience of 12 years and minimum 5 years experience in dealing with Tender & Contracts Management for large value infrastructure works with International financial funding including preparation of Tender documents, evaluation of tenders, contract management and arbitration. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in handling of contracts in Metro rail projects.

Qualification : BE / B. Tech ( Civil ) with Diploma in Industrial Safety.

Experience : Minimum post qualification experience of 15 years in Safety Management for major Construction Sites. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Asst. Executive Engineer :

Discipline : Launching.

Posts : 03 ( Three ) Posts.

Qualification : BE ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg.

Assistant Engineer :

Discipline : Survey.

Posts : 06 ( Six ) Posts.

Qualification : BE ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg.

Experience : Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in survey in major infrastructure projects. Should be conversant with latest survey equipments and methods of surveying. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Asst. Executive Engineer :

Discipline : Quantity Survey

Posts : 06 ( Six ) Posts.

Qualification : BE / B.Tech ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg

Experience : Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in Quantity Survey for major construction work of Bridges, building. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Assistant Engineer :

Posts : 06 ( Six ) Posts.

Discipline : Quantity Survey.

Qualification : BE ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg.

Experience : Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in Quantity Survey for major construction work of bridges, building. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Asst. Executive Engineer :

Discipline : Underground.

Posts : 04 ( Four ) Posts.

Qualification : BE / B.Tech ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg.

Experience : Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in tunneling work by TBM, construction of underground stations. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Assistant Engineer :

Discipline : Underground.

Posts : 04 ( Four ) Posts.

Qualification : BE / B.Tech ( Civil ) or Diploma in Civil Engg.

Experience : Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in tunneling work by TBM, construction of underground station. Candidates having experience in metro rail projects will be preferred.

Pay Scale :

1. Dy. Chief Engineer / Dy. General Manager – rupee 80,000/-

2. Executive Engineer / Manager – rupee 50,000/-

3. Asst. Executive Engineer – rupee 35,000/-

4. Assistant Engineer / Assistant Manager – rupee 30,000/-.

Selection Process :

1. Candidates should submit BMRCL Experienced Officers Recruitment applications in the prescribed format along with copies of all the relevant certificates, testimonials as prescribed for the post

2. The BMRCL Experienced Officers Recruitment application of any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements, which are false or incorrect or indulging in suppression of facts, attempting to use unfair means for the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection.

3. The candidates shall have to appear for interview as and when called, at their own cost.

2. The number of vacancies indicated in this Notification is provisional and may increase or decrease depending upon the actual need. BMRCL also reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies at its discretion and such decision will be final and binding on all.

3. BMRCL reserves the right to assess fitness or otherwise of the candidates selected.

4. BMRCL shall not be liable for any damage / injury / loss to the individual, if any, sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey.

Important Conditions :

1. Candidates who have been shortlisted will only be called for interview.

2. Prescribed qualifications are the minimum requirements and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

3. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview / selection.

4. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection / appointment shall be a disqualification.

5. Selection will be through Interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority.

Period of Appointment :

1. The Contract Appointment will be for 3 years.

2. The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 30 days notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of one month in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant.
