1. AEES Educational and Other Qualifications for Post Code 15 & 17

Essential :

1. Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms) in the following subjects: OR Two years integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the following subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms).

  • 15 - PGT (Physics) : Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics.
  • 17 - PGT (Biology) : Botany / Zoology / Life Sciences / Bio-Sciences / Genetics / Micro Biology / Bio-Technology / Molecular Bio / Plant Physiology provided they have also studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.

2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University with Science as a teaching subject.

3. Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Desirable : Working knowledge in Hindi.

Note : Candidates having Special B.Ed. are not eligible for the post of PGT.

Qualification Essential :

  1. At least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institution’s norms) in any of the following : B.E. or B.Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution / University recognized by the Government of India. OR M.Sc. (Computer Science) / MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR ‘B’ Level from ‘DOEACC’, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Post Graduate Degree in any subject. 1. AEES Educational and other Qualifications for Post Code 32 and 34

Essential :

(i) Three years Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects / combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.

OR

Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects / combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.

The elective subjects / languages in the combination of subjects are as under :

  • 32 - TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit) : Hindi and/or Sanskrit as an elective subject in all the three years of graduation alongwith B.Ed. with Hindi or Sanskrit as a teaching subject.
  • 34 - TGT (Mathematics/Physics) : Mathematics and/or Physics in all three years of graduation and B.Ed with Science or Maths as a teaching subject.

(ii) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) (Paper-II), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

(iii) Proficiency in teaching in English medium (except for TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit).

Desirable : Working knowledge in Hindi.

04 - Preparatory Teacher Essential :

  1. Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms). OR Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms).
  2. Full time Diploma in ECCEd./NST/PPTT from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University / institution’s norms).
  3. English as a subject in class XII is mandatory.
  4. Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Desirable : Working knowledge in Hindi.

Age Relaxation for AEES Teachers Recruitment 2017

Maximum relaxation allowed in upper age limit :

  1. SC/ST Candidates - 5 years for the posts reserved for them.
  2. Other Backward Classes [Non Creamy Layer (NCL)] candidates - 3 years for the posts reserved for them.
  3. Women candidates - 10 years (not applicable for the post of Junior Hindi Translator)
  4. AEES regular employees or in regular Central Government service – 5 years.
  5. PWD : SC/ST - 15 years, OBC (NCL) - 13 years and UR - 10 years for the posts reserved for them.

Scheme of AEES Written Examination 2017

(i) The scheme of examination for teaching posts is as under :

1. Post Subject : PGTs (Physics, Biology & Computer Science)

Part - I : 20 Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Subjects carrying one mark each (total 20 marks)

Part - II : 80 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each comprising of Current Affairs (10), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (10), Teaching Methodology (10) and the subject concerned (50)

Marks / Duration : 100 marks / 2 hours

Syllabus for the subject (s) concerned : As per UGC syllabus upto Post Graduation level in the concerned subject.

2. TGT (Hindi / Sanskrit & Mathematics / Physics)

Part - I : 20 Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Subjects carrying one mark each (total 20 marks)

Part - II : 80 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each comprising of Current Affairs (10), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (10), Teaching Methodology (10) and the combination of concerned subjects (50)

Marks / Duration : 100 marks / 2 hours

Syllabus for the subject (s) concerned : As per UGC syllabus upto Graduation level in the combination of concerned subjects.

3. TGT [Art & PET (Female)]

Part - I : 20 Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Subjects carrying one mark each (total 20 marks)

Part - II : 80 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each comprising of Current Affairs (10), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (10) and the subject concerned (60)

Marks / Duration : 100 marks / 2 hours

Syllabus for the subject (s) concerned : As per UGC syllabus upto Graduation level in the concerned subject.

4. Primary Teacher (Music)

Part - I : 20 Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Subjects carrying one mark each (total 20 marks)

Part - II : 80 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each comprising of Current Affairs (10), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (10) and Music (60)

Marks / Duration : 100 marks / 2 hours

Syllabus for the subject (s) concerned : As per UGC syllabus upto Graduation level in Music.

5. Preparatory Teacher

Part - I : 20 Multiple Choice Questions in English and Hindi Subjects carrying one mark each (total 20 marks)

Part - II : 80 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one mark each comprising of Current Affairs (10), Reasoning and Numerical Ability (10), Teaching Methodology and Early Child Care Education (60)

Marks / Duration : 100 marks / 2 hours

Syllabus for the subject (s) concerned : 2 hours The syllabus will be made available on AEES website.

(ii) For all the above mentioned posts, the Answer Script of Part II of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies Part I of the Written Test by securing minimum 3 marks each in English and Hindi subjects and 7 marks in aggregate.

(iii) Negative marking will be applicable in Part II of written examination and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each wrong answer.

AEES Mode of Selection for Teachers Post 2017

(i)

  1. Candidates who apply against UR vacancies and are scoring 50% and candidates who apply against SC/ST/OBC/PWD vacancies and are scoring 45% and above in the written test (Part II) will be eligible for short listing for Skill Test. However, the maximum number of candidates called for the Skill Test will be 5 times the number of vacancies for each post/subject that will be solely based on the merit list prepared based on the marks scored in the written test of Part-II.
  2. The Skill test will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted on a Go/No-Go basis for the candidates shortlisted for the same. Candidates who get a No-Go in Skill test will not be considered.
  3. Candidates who qualify (who get a ‘Go’) in skill test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of merit, based on marks secured in written test.

(ii) Atomic Energy Education Society Written test and Skill test for all the posts :

  1. The written test shall be held at Atomic Energy Central Schools/Junior College situated at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400 094.
  2. The written test for the post of PGT (Physics, Biology & Computer Science) and Preparatory Teacher will be held on 09th September, 2017 and Skill test on 11th September, 2017 and 12th September, 2017.
  3. The written test for the post of TGT [(Hindi/Sanskrit, Mathematics/Physics, ART & PET (Female)] and Primary Teacher (Music) will be held on 16th September, 2017 and Skill test on 18th September, 2017 and 19th September, 2017.
  4. The skill test will be held at AEES, Central Office, AECS-6, Western Sector, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400 094.
  5. Other details pertaining to written test and skill test will be communicated with the admit card and the same will be uploaded on the AEES website.

(iii) No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test. However, eligible outstation SC/ST candidates who qualify the written test and appear for skill test will be paid to and fro second class train fare or ordinary State Transport bus fare by shortest route, as per Government rules. No TA is admissible to SC/ST candidates if they are already in the service of Central/State Government Corporations, Public Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies, Local Government institutions and Panchayats.

AEES Examination Fees and Mode of Payment 2017

  1. To apply for the aforesaid posts, candidates are advised to remit a fees of 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty only) through SBI Collect by going to the following link https://www.onlinesbi.com/prelogin/icollecthome.htm and entering the required information. The online payment window will be available till 03rd August, 2017.
  2. No Fees is required to be paid by Women/SC/ST/PWD candidates.

How to Apply for AEES Teachers Recruitment 2017

  1. Those who fulfil all the eligibility criteria may apply in the prescribed format to Chief Administrative Officer, Atomic Energy Education Society, Central Office, Western Sector, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400094 enclosing the transaction receipt for the fee paid. Candidates who are exempted from payment of examination fee should mention the same at relevant place in application form clearly mentioning the category under which exemption is claimed.
