ITBP Addl. Judge Attorney General recruitment 2014 Applications are invited from Indian citizen for filling up four post of Additional Judge Attorney General ( Commandant ), Group ‘A’ Gazetted ( Non – Ministerial ) indo – Tibetan Border Police Force ( Ministry of Home Affairs ) Govt. of India, New Delhi on transfer on deputation basis or re – employment of Armed Forces personnel.

Addl. Judge Attorney General Pay Scale 2014 : PB – 4 37400 – 67000/- with GP 8700/- and other allowances admissible to Central Government employees in ITBP Force.
Addl. Judge Attorney General Age Limit 2014 : The maximum age limit for eligibility for deputation shall be not exceeding fifty – two years on the date of receipt of ITBP Addl. Judge Attorney General recruitment Application 2014.
ITBP Addl. Judge Attorney General Eligibility 2014 :
By deputation ( Officers in the Central Government ) :
(i) possessing degree in Law from a recognised university and holding the post of Second – in – Command or Commandant in Indo – Tibetan Border Police Force with fifteen years’ Group ‘A’ service and having atleast ten years’ experience in legal affairs ( or )
(ii) Deputy Commandant of the force having degree in Law and ten years regular service in the grade with ten years’ experience in legal affairs and having total fifteen years of Group “A” service ( or )
(iii) serving in Para Military Forces having an Act similar to Indo – Tibetan Border Police Force Act 1992 holding analogous post with minimum of fifteen years Group ‘A’ service ( or )
(iv) in the grade of Pay Band – 3 ( 15600 – 39100/- and Grade Pay of 7600/- ) with five years regular service in the grade and having fifteen years of Group ‘A’ service and having degree in Law and ten years experience in legal affairs ( or )
(v) is or has been an officer of the rank of Colonel or equivalent in the Department of the Judge Advocate General in Army or Navy or Air Force; or an officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent in the Department of Judge Advocate General with fifteen years commissioned service in any of the Armed forces of the Union ( or )
(vi) is or has been a member of the State Judicial Service for a period of not less than fifteen years ( or )
(vii) from amongst Central Government or State Government officer of the Legal Department who :
a) is or has been a Additional Legal Advisor or equivalent in the pay scale of 37400 – 67000/- ( PB – 4 ) and Grade Pay of 8700/- having fifteen years experience in dealing with legal matters / court cases ( or )
b) is or has been a Deputy Legal Advisor or equivalent in the pay scale of 15600 – 39100/- ( PB – 3 ) and Grade Pay of 7600/- having five years of regular service in the grade having atleast fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters / court cases ( or )
c) is or has been a Assistant Legal Advisor or equivalent in the pay scale of 15600 – 39100/- ( PB – 3 ) and Grade Pay of 6600/- having ten years of regular service in the grade with fifteen years of experience in dealing with legal matters / court cases.
Note 1 : The period of deputation including of deputation in another Ex – Cadre post held immediately preceding of this appointment in the same or other organisation / department of Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Note 2 : For the purpose of computing minimum qualifying service for promotion, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January, 2006, the date from which the revised pay structure based on the 6th Central Pay Commission recommendations has been extended, shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Commission, except where there has been merger of more than one pre – revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale, and where this benefit will extend only for the posts for which that grade pay or pay scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation,
By re – employment :
The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve with in a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualifications prescribed for deputationists shall also be considered. Provided that such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due to be released from Armed Forces and thereafter they may be continued on re – employment.

Judge Attorney General recruitment 2014 Applications through proper channel of willing and suitable officers along – with their bio – data in the prescribed proforma ( enclosed ) as Annexure – II together with up – to – date ACR / APAR dossiers ( attested copies each page ) for the last 05 years, DE / Vigilance Clearance Certificate and Integrity Certificate, should reach the following address within two months ( 07th June, 2014 ) from the date of publication of the advertisement in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar.

b). Officers once nominated will not be permitted to withdraw their candidature.
ITBP New Delhi General Instructions :
(i) The selected officers will be required to examine cases and put in appearance in High Courts and Subordinate Courts on behalf of the Union of India and ITBPF in the matters relating to the ITBPF Act and Rules framed thereunder, writ petitions and other cases. Matters pertaining to contracts for sale, lease or land building etc, title to property and various other important cases of Departmental Enquiries etc will also have to be attended to. Keeping in view the various legal problems of ITBPF as mentioned above, it is necessary that the officers to be appointed to these posts should have sufficient broad level legal experience.
(ii) The selected persons shall be liable to be posted anywhere in India.
(iii) The post of Addl. JAG / Comdt. in ITBPF is combatised. The ITBPF Act – 1992 and ITBPF Rules 1994 shall apply to the persons so appointed / selected for deputation.
(iv) Selected officer shall be allowed to draw Uniform Maintenance Allowances as admissible under the Rules. Salary will be subject to deduction of normal income tax as applicable to civil officers.
(v) The officer will be entitled for leave as per CCS ( Leave ) Rules, 1972 as amended from time to time and State Leave Rules ( applicable only for state Govt. officers )
(vi) The officer will be entitled for Leave Travel Concession: as per CCS ( LTC ) Rules, 1988 as amended from time to time.
(vii) The pay of the officer selected for appointment on deputation basis will be regulated in accordance with Department of Personnel & Training Notifications.
