CISF Constable Tradesmen Selection & Application Form 2012

4. The selection procedure for CISF Constable / Tradesman (Ex-servicemen) will be as under :

i) CISF Constable Eligibility Test 2012 :

The eligibility criteria i.e. Age, Educational Qualification, (Height, Chest for record purpose only) for the respective posts will be verified by the CISF Recruitment Board from the original certificates produced by the candidates in accordance with the standards prescribed in the advertisement.

Those who do not confirm to the eligibility criteria as advertised should not be considered. Those found qualified in the eligibility criteria will be put through trade test events :

ii) CISF Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :

Note : Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET.

iii) CISF Constable Trade Test 2012 : Those qualify in the eligibility Test will be put through the trade test as prescribed for each post as under :

CONST / BARBER

a) Handling of tools
b) Hair Cutting
c) Shaving

CONST / BOOT MAKER

a) Polishing of shoes
b) Handling of tools
c) Cutting of leather repair & stitching of Shoes

CONST / COOK

a) Cooking of Chapati & Rice for 100 men
b) Cooking of vegetable / Dal / Samber / Idli etc for 100 men
c) Cooking of Meat / Fish / Egg / Kheer

CONST / CARPENTER

a) Handling of tools
b) Cutting of wood
c) Fitting, polishing and finishing of material

CONST / ELECTRICIAN

a) Knowledge of AC/DC current
b) New Electric Fitting
c) Rectification of Electric fault

CONST / MALI

a) Plantations and making grafts.
b) Maintenance of plants
c) Knowledge of seeds and their sowing season, Fertilisers in seeti deseeti.
d) Knowledge of indigenous manures

CONST / SWEEPER

a) Sweeping
b) Cleaning of toilets
c) Cleaning of Bathrooms etc.

CONST / WASHER MAN

a) Washing of clothes
b) Ironing of Khaki Cotton Uniform
c) Ironing of woolen, Teri cotton Uniforms

CONST / WATER CARRIER

a) Washing of vessels
b) Kneading of Atta for making chapattis for 100 men
c) Cutting of vegetables etc.

iv) Preparation of merit list : Separate merit list will be prepared category-wise and post-wise on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the trade test.

v) CISF Constable Medical Examination :

After preparation of merit list, the candidates selected in order of merit (equal to the number of vacancies) will be put through a Detailed Medical Examination to asses their fitness.

vi) Appeal against findings of Medical Examination :

(i) In case a candidate, who has been declared UNFIT in the Medical Examination, will be communicated the grounds for rejection in broad terms by the Examining Medical Officer.

(ii) The candidate, if not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Examination, can submit an appeal within one month for Review Medical Examination along with a proof of his fitness in the prescribed form of the advertisement enclosing a Demand Draft of 25/-.

(iii) The medical certificate will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a note by the medical practitioner concerned to the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been declared unfit for appointment by a Medical Officer.

(iv) The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless it contains Review Medical Examination fee of 25/- through Demand Draft. (the details of authority to whom the appeal should be submitted and DDO concerned and payable branch etc., will be mentioned in the Rejection Slip itself to be issued by the Examining Medical Officer / Chairman of the CISF Recruitment Board).

5. Application Form for CISF Constable Recruitment 2012 :

CISF Constable Application should be sent to the concerned application receiving authorities prescribed below :

6. Closing Date for Receipt of CISF Application Form 2012 :

CISF Application should be sent so as to reach the concerned DIG of CISF as shown in the para-6 above by 13.02.2012 and in case of residents of North East region by 20.02.2012. No application will be entertained which is received after the due date.

a) CISF Constable Tradesmen Application Form duly filled in the prescribed proforma and affixed with recent passport size photograph duly self attested may be sent to concerned Application Receiving Authorities as mentioned above along with the following documents. One similar photograph will also be affixed on the CISF Constable Exam Admit Card 2012.

b) The envelop containing above documents should be super scribed “CISF Application for the post of CONST / BARBER or CONST / BOOT MAKER or CONST / COOK or CONST / CARPENTER or CONST / ELECTRICIAN or CONST / MALI or CONST / SWEEPER or CONST / WASHERMAN or CONST / WATER CARRIER which ever is applicable.

Sequence of CISF Constable Recruitment 2012 :

Candidates whose CISF Vacancies applications are found to be in order shall be called for further stages of recruitment. Each stage mentioned in (a) and (b) below will be qualifying in nature i.e. no marks will be awarded for these tests, but candidates must qualify each stage to proceed further in the recruitment. Failure to qualify in any stage will result in elimination of the candidate from the Central Industrial Security Force recruitment process 2012.

(a) Central Industrial Security Force Eligibility test 2012 :

The eligibility criteria i.e. Age, Educational Qualification, Height, Chest, Driving Licence, Driving Experience etc. for the respective posts will be verified by the CISF Recruitment Board from the original certificates produced by the candidates in accordance with the standards prescribed in the Central Industrial Security Force advertisement 2012. Those who do not confirm to the eligibility criterion as advertised will not be considered. Those found qualified in the eligibility criteria will be put through following PET events :

CISF Constable Physical Efficiency Test :

• Run 800 Meters to be completed in 3 minutes and 15 Seconds.
• Long Jump 11 feet ( Candidate will be given 3 chances ).
• High Jump 3 feet 6 inches ( Candidate will be given 3 chances ).

CISF Constable Trade Test and Written Test 2012 :

Those who qualify in the PET will be put through following tests. Any candidate who do not secure the minimum qualifying marks in these tests as shown against each, will be eliminated from that particular stage and will not be allowed to appear in the further tests :

Medical Examination for CISF Recruitment 2012 :

After preparation of merit list, the candidates selected in order of merit ( equal to the allotted number of category wise vacancies ) will be put through a detailed medical examination to assess their fitness.

Final Selection for Central Industrial Security Force Vacancies 2012 :

The candidates found medically fit will be finally selected.

Appeal Against Medical Unfitness :

In all cases a candidate, who has been declared Unfit for appointment in CISF in the Medical Examination will be communicated the grounds for rejection in broad terms by the Examining Medical Officer, The candidate, if not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Examination, can submit an appeal for Review Medical Examination within one month from the date on which the candidate has been declared unfit, with a proof of his fitness in the prescribed form.

The Medical certificate will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a note by the medical practitioner concerned to the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been declared unfit for appointment by a Medical Officer. The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless it contains Review Medical Examination Fee of 25/- ( Rupees twenty five only ) through Demand Draft. ( The details of authority to whom the appeal should be submitted and DDO concerned and payable branch etc will be mentioned in the rejection slip itself to be issued by the Examining Medical Officer / Chairman of the Recruitment Board ).

Central Industrial Security Force Application Form 2012 :

CISF Recruitment Application on the proforma should be sent to any of the authorities prescribed below along with requisite application fees of 50/- ( Rupees fifty only ) in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer mentioned under column 2 below and payable at the post office as mentioned under column 3. SC / ST candidates are exempted from CISF application fee 2012.

Closing Date for CISF Application Form 2012 :

Central Industrial Security Force Application should be sent so as to reach the concerned DIG of CISF as shown in the above table latest by 25.02.2012 and in case of residents of North East region by 03.03.2012. No CISF Exam application will be entertained which is received after the due date.
