Border Security Force Invites applications for filling up the following Group ‘ A ’ officers combatised posts in Border Security Force ( Air Wing ), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India on deputation ( including short term contract ) / absorption / re – employment basis as per the BSF Eligibility criteria mentioned against each post with Government Pay & Allowances, DA, Accommodation / HRA, Uniform Grant, LTC, Medical Facilities and other allowances / Incentives as admissible from time to time.
The modalities of the BSF Recruitment 2013 will be as under :
(i) The BSF Recruitment 2013 Advertisement is open for one year subject to availability of vacancies as per the requirement. Last date for receipt of BSF Vacancy 2013 applications will be the last working day of the 12th month from the date of publication of the BSF Vacancy Advertisement in the Employment News ( One year ) ( Dated 15 – 22 March 2013 ).
(ii) BSF Recruitment 2013 Applications Received will be considered on monthly / requirement basis till one year.
(iii) BSF Recruitment process of a post will be concluded on selection of suitable candidates. However, for the unfilled posts, BSF Jobs 2013 applications will continue to be received till the last working day of the 12th month from the date of publication of the Advertisement in Employment News ( Dated 15 – 22 March 2013 ).
(iv) Updation of the vacancy position will be available on BSF Web Site www.bsf.nic.in.
(v) BSF Recruitment 2013 Applications are to be submitted specifically for the specific vacant posts only.
(vi) The BSF Vacancies and Criteria are subject to change as per the requirements.
(vii) The BSF Vacancy advertisement is subject to availability of vacancies as per the requirement and subject to modification / cancellation as and when become necessary.

Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers; or 2. Degree in any discipline with one year’s Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized Institute. Desirable 1. Experience in Engineering or Aviation and training on Advanced Light Helicopter / Dhruv. Note : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 52 years on the date of receipt of BSF Vacancy 2013 application. |
In addition to the usual Government Pay & Allowances, the Officers in BSF Air Wing will be entitled to draw Incentives / Deputation Allowance as per following rates :

General Conditions for BSF Recruitment 2013 :
1. Indian Air Force Officers joining BSF Air Wing on deputation will be under the administrative and functional control of DG BSF and will continue to be subject to the Air Force Act and Rules for disciplinary purpose as per the Agreed Terms & Conditions signed between MHA and MoD.
2. They will continue to draw the pay & allowances as they are entitled and drawing in the IAF with Deputation Allowances as per Government of India’s Instructions. They may claim in addition Flying Incentives at par with BSF Air Wing Officers with a minimum amount equal to the Flying Pay admissible in IAF from time to time.
3. They will wear their uniform and carry their own rank & badges. They will be extended the facilities of corresponding post of BSF Air Wing officers. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization / Department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
4. The Departmental Officers who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
5. Absorption can be effected only in the case of Officers from the Central Government or the State Government.
6. The Department may add or withdraw the BSF Vacancies / Eligibility Criteria / Advertisement as per the requirement.
7.
