2. Educational Qualification for Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Jobs : (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; ( or ) (b) Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force; Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course (to be prescribed from time to time).

3. Age Limit for Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Jobs : Not exceeding 28 years of age as on last date of receipt of application.

5. Medical Standard for Assistant Sub Inspector Jobs :

a. Eye Sight : The minimum distant vision should be 6 / 6 and 6 / 9 of both eyes without correction ( ie without wearing of glasses ). b. The candidate must not have knock knees, Flat Foot, Varicose Veins or squint in eyes and they should possesses high colour vision. c. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect or deformity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

6. BSF Recruitment Selection Procedure 2013 :

a. First Phase of the Examination :

Written Examination :

The Written Examination will be conducted at the centre. There will be one composite paper for two hours duration. Question papers will be Objective Type with multiple choices on OMR answer sheet shall consisting the following subjects :

Note : The minimum qualifying marks of Written Examination is 50%. Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile Phone, Calculator or any other electronic / electrical device for answering any paper ( Test Booklets ). Candidates must not therefore, bring Mobile Phone, Calculator or any other electronic electrical device inside the Examination premises. Possession of these items, whether in use or not, will be considered as “use of unfair means” in the Examination and appropriate action will be taken by the department against such candidates, as per extant policy of the department.

b. Second Phase of the Examination :

Successful candidates in Written Examination will appear before the selection board of Second Phase Examination ( ie Documentation, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Interview & Medical Examination ) on due date at the centre, which will be communicated to them through call letter as well as BSF Website ( www.bsf.nie.in ). They will be put through subsequent stages. Candidates have to qualify all the stages of the Second phase examination one by one. Any candidate not qualifying in any of the events of examination will be eliminated from the process of recruitment.

i. Documentation : The documentation will be carried out at the Centre on the date and time fixed by the Competent Authority which will be communicated to the candidates.

ii. Physical Standard Test ( PST ) : Candidates qualified in the Documentation will be put through the Physical Standard Test. PST will be carried out by the selection board to assess the height, weight and chest of the candidates according to the Physical Standard mentioned at para V.

Note : Candidates declared disqualified in Physical Standards, i.e height and chest, may prefer an appeal immediately at the venue o f the PST itself if they so desire, to the Board o f Officer / Presiding Officer. The appellate authority will re-measure the Physical Standards o f such candidate and the decision arrived at by him will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained.

iii. Physical Efficiency Test ( PET will not carry any marks but will he qualifying in nature ) :

Those candidates found fit in Physical Standard Test ( PST ) will be put through for Physical Efficiency Test ( PET ) as under :

Note : Pregnancy at the time of PET for female candidate will be disqualification and pregnant female candidate will be rejected. No appeal / representation will be entertained against such rejection.

iv. Interview : The candidates declared qualified in Documentation, PST & PET will be eligible to appear for personal Interview before the Selection Board. The Interview test will carry 30 marks.

Note : There are no minimum qualifying marks for interview however attendance is mandatory

V. Medical Examination : Candidates who qualify all the above stages i.e. Written Examination, Documentation, PST, PET & Interview will undergo detailed Medical Examination, which will be conducted by a medical examination board. If found Unfit in the Medical Examination, the candidate may prefer an appeal for Review Medical Examination within the prescribed time limit of 15 days. The provisions of appeal for Review Medical Examination is only against an error of judgment of the Medical Examination Board. On acceptance of the appeal, Review Medical Examination will be conducted and the decision of Review Medical Board will be final and no appeal/representation against the decision of the Review Medical Board will be entertained.

7. Mode of Payment for BSF Recruitment Application Fees 2013 :

Each application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft / Postal Order for  Rupee50/- ( Fifty rupees ) as examination fee in favour of ‘Commandant 25 BN BSF” Payable at SBI – ADB Najafgarh, Code No – 001419. However, fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen

Note :

a. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. b. Fee paid by modes other than DD / IPO, as stated above, will not be accepted and the applications o f such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited.

8. BSF New Delhi Application Process 2013 :

BSF Recruitment 2013 application duly filled up in the given format may be sent to the following address within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news ( dated 17th August, 2013 to 23rd August, 2013 ) and candidates belonging to far flung areas be sent within 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news ( dated 17th August, 2013 to 23rd August, 2013 ). Centre for conduct of the 1st & 2nd phase exam may change, if required, due to administrative reasons.

Three recent passport size photographs should be attached to the BSF application. One each photograph to be affixed on the application form and admit card and third one to be kept in record. Two self-addressed envelopes of ‘size of 25 x 12 cms’ with postal stamp worth Rupee39/- each should also be attached with the BSF application form. The envelope containing application must be super scribed in bold letters as “Application for recruitment of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic ( Assistant Sub Inspector ) in BSF Air Wing – 2013.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria for admission to the Selection Test. Their admission at all the stages o f examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, on verification, at any time before or after the Selection Test, it is found that they do not fulfill any o f the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Department.

BSF New Delhi Group A Officers Recruitment 2013

Border Security Force Invites applications for filling up the following Group ‘ A ’ officers combatised posts in Border Security Force ( Air Wing ), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India on deputation ( including short term contract ) / absorption / re – employment basis as per the BSF Eligibility criteria mentioned against each post with Government Pay & Allowances, DA, Accommodation / HRA, Uniform Grant, LTC, Medical Facilities and other allowances / Incentives as admissible from time to time.

The modalities of the BSF Recruitment 2013 will be as under :

(i) The BSF Recruitment 2013 Advertisement is open for one year subject to availability of vacancies as per the requirement. Last date for receipt of BSF Vacancy 2013 applications will be the last working day of the 12th month from the date of publication of the BSF Vacancy Advertisement in the Employment News ( One year ) ( Dated 15 – 22 March 2013 ).

(ii) BSF Recruitment 2013 Applications Received will be considered on monthly / requirement basis till one year.

(iii) BSF Recruitment process of a post will be concluded on selection of suitable candidates. (10) Junior Logistic Officer (Assistant Commandant) Pay Band – 3 ( Rupee 15600 – 39100) plus Grade Pay Rupee 5400/- Vacancy – 05 ( For Deputation Only ) I. Deputation ( Including Short Term Contract ) Officials under the Central Government or the State Government or the Public Undertaking holding analogous post or with three years regular service in the pay grade of Pay Band-2 ( Rupee 9300 – 34,800 ) and Grade Pay Rupee4600/- and possessing qualifications and experience as specified below : Essential 1. Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers; or 2. Degree in any discipline with one year’s Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized Institute. Desirable 1. Experience in Engineering or Aviation and training on Advanced Light Helicopter / Dhruv. Note : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 52 years on the date of receipt of BSF Vacancy 2013 application.

In addition to the usual Government Pay & Allowances, the Officers in BSF Air Wing will be entitled to draw Incentives / Deputation Allowance as per following rates :

Deputation ( Duty ) Allowance :

Within the same station 5% of ( Pay Band + Grade Pay ) subject to maximum of Rs.2,000/- p. m.
In other cases 10 % of ( Pay Band + Grade Pay ) subject to maximum of Rs.4,000/- p.m.

General Conditions for BSF Recruitment 2013 :

1. Indian Air Force Officers joining BSF Air Wing on deputation will be under the administrative and functional control of DG BSF and will continue to be subject to the Air Force Act and Rules for disciplinary purpose as per the Agreed Terms & Conditions signed between MHA and MoD.

2. They will continue to draw the pay & allowances as they are entitled and drawing in the IAF with Deputation Allowances as per Government of India’s Instructions. They may claim in addition Flying Incentives at par with BSF Air Wing Officers with a minimum amount equal to the Flying Pay admissible in IAF from time to time.

3. They will wear their uniform and carry their own rank & badges. They will be extended the facilities of corresponding post of BSF Air Wing officers. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization / Department shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

4. The Departmental Officers who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

5. Absorption can be effected only in the case of Officers from the Central Government or the State Government.

6. The Department may add or withdraw the BSF Vacancies / Eligibility Criteria / Advertisement as per the requirement.

7.
