The Senior Stores Officer is responsible for Supervising all work relating to purchase of equipment and instruments listed in the Govt. inpui/UNDp lnput in the project document for establishment and operations of Mineral Processing Laboratory frlinlng Tenament System/Remote Sensing Laboratory/Offices of lndian Bureau of Mines in lndia. He has to monitor work relating. to inviting tenders/quotations for purchase of all equipment,s instruments, Preparation of comparative Statement, placing of supply orders and'making arrangements for coordinating with other agencies involved in inspection of these items. He has to make all necessary arrangements foi receipt of these machineries/instruments, stock- taking, inventory, procurement of spares and accessories and day to day supplies. He shall be responsible for procurement through e-portals such as GeM, Cpp etc. 'Rtso any other duties which may be assigned by the superior Authority of lBM. 03. As per the Recruitment Rules for the post of Senior Stores Officer, the candidate to be considered for appointment by Deputation including shortterm contract should be the officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or University or recognized research institution. - (a) i) Holding analogous post on a regular basis in parent cadre or department; or ii) With five years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs.561OO-177SOO) or equivalent; and (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:- i) Master's degree with Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized University or lnstitute; ii) Four years experience of indentini, purctrase of technical stores and stores account in the Central Government or State Government or Statutory or Autonomous organization or public sector undertakings or University or recognized research institution. OR i) Bachelors Degree in Economics or Commerce or Statistics or Business Studies or'Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or lnstitute; ii) Diploma in Materials Management or Warehousing Management or purchasing or Logistics or Public Procurement from recognized University or lnstitute; 2t '2' iii) Five years experience of indenting, purchase of technical stores and stores account in the Central Government or State Government or statutory or autonomous organization or public sector undertakings or University or recog nized research institution. Note-f:- The departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointmunion deputation. similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note-2:- Period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or Department of the central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four yearJ.

Note-3:- The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as on the crosing date of receipt of appricaiions.
