The ESI Corporation vacancies of Upper Division Clerk / Multi Tasking Staff are for the offices and hospitals of Employees State Insurance Corporation in Kerala Region.

The number of ESIC Kerala Vacancies indicated above includes 1 ( one ) vacancy reserved for Ex – servicemen. The ESI Corporation Kerala Vacancies are in various offices of ESI Corporation in Kerala Region and as such selected candidates are liable to be posted in any of the offices of the ESIC in Kerala Region. Only those candidates, who are willing to accept the posting in Kerala Region, need to apply.

ESIC Pay Scale 2012 :

In addition to the above, DA, HRA and Transport allowance as per rules in force from time to time applicable to employees of ESI Corporation n are also admissible.

Age Limit for ESIC Kerala Recruitment 2012 :

(a). ESIC Recruitment for Upper Division Clerks : Between 18 and 27 Years as on 16.01.2012.
(b). ESIC Jobs for Multi Tasking Staff : Between 18 and 25 years as on 16.01.2012.

Relaxation in age will be as below :

Candidates seeking relaxation should submit attested copy of Community / Caste / Disability / Discharge certificate in the prescribed Form. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation on the grounds of belonging to OBC should submit the community certificate in Annexure ‘ A ’ prescribed vide Government of India, Department of Personnel & Training O M No. 36012 / 22 / 93 Estt ( SCT ) dated 8.9.1993 and modified vide GOI, DOPT’s OM No. 36033 / 2 / 2004 ESTT ( RES ) dated 9.3.2004 i.e. in the form to be produced by Other Backward Classes applying for appointment to the post under Government of India.

Only those belonging to such castes / communities falling in the Central list of the OBC prepared by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India are entitled to reservation in the services under Government of India. The candidates not submitting the OBC Certificate in the Proforma prescribed for appointment to the post under the Government of India shall not be considered for reservation under OBC Category.

Mode of Payment :

A Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India or its subsidiary banks or any Nationalised Bank after the publication of ESI Corporation advertisement in favour of ESI Corporation and payable at Trichur. Candidates must write his name, address and computer generated ESIC Job Application Number on reverse of DD.

ESIC Kerala Exam Application Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be reserved for any other examination. Candidates belonging to SC / PH / Ex – servicemen category, ESI Corporation Employees and female candidates are exempted from payment of Employees State Insurance Corporation Examination fees 2012.

Scheme of Employees State Insurance Corporation Examination 2012 :

Part I : ESIC Kerala Written Test 2012 ( For both UDC & MTS ) :

Part II : Computer Skill Test for Upper Division Clerks ( ESI Corporation Kerala Jobs for UDC only ) :

The ESI Corporation Kerala Test will shall comprise of the following three parts :

Part A : Preparation of two Power Point Presentations / slides on MS – Power Point
Part B : Typing a letter / passage / paragraph of about 150 – 200 words in MS – Word
Part C : Preparation of Table / Database in MS – Excel. The total marks of the Computer Skill Test shall be 50 marks with duration of 30 minutes for completing all the three parts.

ESIC Kerala Selection Process 2012 :

(a) The Selection for the post of Upper Division Clerk will be made on the basis of Employees State Insurance Corporation written test ( Part I Objective Type ) followed by computer Skill Test of the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the ESIC written test ( Part ) Part – 1.

(b) The Selection for the post of Multi Tasking Staff will be made on the basis of ESI Corporation written Test only. The Number of ESI Corporation Kerala vacancies can vary at the time of final selection.

Part 1 ESIC Kerala Recruitment Written Test will be held at Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode Candidates should apply only by ‘ Online ‘ through website. No other means / mode of ESIC Kerala application will be accepted.

ESI Corporation Kerala Online Application Form 2012 :

1. Candidates should apply only through ‘Online’ through the ESIC website http://www.keralaesic.com, www.kl.esicexams.org, www.lasagu.com. No other means / mode of ESIC Kerala Recruitment application will be accepted.

ESIC Kerala Online Registration starts on : 21.12.2011 10.00 A.M.
ESI Corporation Kerala Online Registration closes on :16.01.2012 5.00 P.M.

2. Candidates should have a valid Email ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid Email ID, he / she should create his / her new Email ID before applying online. Before filling up the ESI Corporation Kerala Online Application the candidate has to click the link – ‘I have read the instruction’- at the end of this instruction and you will go to the site where you will be advised to enter your Email ID. The ID will be confirmed and you will have to obtain your verification Code from your Email Account and enter this code to proceed.

3. Candidates are advised that before filling up ESI Corporation Kerala online application form – they must get a Demand Draft ( Cheque / Postal order will not be accepted ) for 225/- ( Rupees Two hundred and twenty five only ) for Upper Division Clerks and 125/- ( Rupees one hundred and twenty five only ) for Multi Tasking Staff obtained from State Bank of India or its subsidiary banks or any Nationalised Bank on or after the publication of the Newspaper advertisement in favour of ESI Corporation and payable at Trichur.

Without details of the Demand Draft, the system will not accept the Employees State Insurance Corporation Kerala application. However, Candidates belonging to SC, PH, EXSM, Female applicants and Employees of ESIC are exempted from payment of fee. Candidates are advised to keep particulars of educational qualifications, work experience details, caste certificate details, and other personal details ready as these details are required to be entered in the ESIC Kerala Recruitment online application form 2012.

4. There are different categories i.e. General, SC, OBC and horizontal reservation will be available for Ex – Servicemen and physically challenged as per details available under General Instructions. The candidate will be considered only for the category for which he / she has filled up the form subject to fulfilling of prescribed eligibility conditions.

For example, if a candidate has filled up under General Category though he / she belongs to SC / OBC / Ex – Serviceman Category, he / she will be considered only for General category ( provided he / she fulfills eligibility conditions as a General category Candidate ) irrespective of his belonging to the SC / OBC / Ex – serviceman category. Similarly, if a General Candidate has filled up SC / OBC/ Ex – Serviceman form, his / her candidature will stand cancelled being not SC / OBC / Ex – Serviceman. Candidates are, thus, advised to fill up the form for the category they belong to.

5. Candidates who are employed in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous bodies etc. should send hard copy of their ESIC UDC & MTS Recruitment 2012 applications through proper channel. However they may send an advance copy of their Employees State Insurance Corporation Exam application along with demand draft ( if payable ) and other documents ( if applicable ) so as to reach this office on or before the last date.

6. Fill in the required details in the ESI Corporation Vacancy 2012 Online Application therein including DD number etc. and click Submit button at the end of the Employees State Insurance Corporation Online application form 2012. A Unique User Name and Password will be generated and sent to your E mail Account.

The candidates should take note of the User Name for the purpose of writing at the back of DD. Candidates, in their own interest, should note down this Computer Generated User name and password carefully and retain the same for re – login, downloading the ESIC Exam admit card and for further references.

7. After applying online take a print out of System generated ESIC Exam 2012 Online Application Form in A – 4 size paper – ( You will receive the User Name and Password through your email. Login with these details to take the print out. )

(a) Candidates applying for ESIC Kerala Upper Division Clerks, should submit system generated hard copy of ESIC Jobs 2012 online application duly signed by the candidate at the appropriate space/s provided with attested photograph, by a Gazetted Officer, pasted on it and Demand Draft ( as the case may be ). No other document are to be attached at this stage. However the copies of the ESIC Kerala Recruitment 2012 application and testimonials will have to be submitted by the successful candidates in the Part I examination at the time of calling for Computer Skill Test ).

(b) Candidates applying for Multi Tasking Staff should submit system generated hard copy of Employees State Insurance Corporation Kerala Job online application duly signed by the candidate at the appropriate space/s provided with attested photograph, by a Gazetted Officer, pasted on it and Demand Draft ( as the case may be ) along with copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age, date of birth, educational qualifications Caste etc. mentioned in the Check list at the end of the ESIC Kerala Vacancy application Form 2012.

Form complete in all respects should be sent by Registered Post in a closed envelope superscribing on its left top Corner ‘ ESI Corporation Kerala Application for the Post of ‘ Upper Division Clerk ‘ or ‘ Multi Tasking Staff ‘, as the case may be, so as to reach before the last date to the following address.
