ESIC Upper Division Clerk Recruitment 2012

ESI Corporation Online Applications ( Through website of www.esicuttarpradesh.org ) are invited for filling up the following vacancies of Upper Division Clerk in E. S. I. Corporation, Uttar Pradesh Region in the ESIC Pay band of ( PB – 1 ) 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay 2400/- plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees in similar pay bands.

* The number of Employees State Insurance Corporation Kanpur vacancies can vary at the time of final selection. Regional Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the no. of vacancies at his discretion. Out of the above vacancies 02 posts are reserved horizontally for ex – serviceman and 01 post for persons with disability, however the number of posts reserved for different categories may vary at the time of final selection. Preference will be given to VH / HH candidates. The probable date of ESIC Kanpur examination is 01.04.2012.

Qualification for Upper Division Clerk Jobs in ESI Corporation 2012 :

• Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

ESIC UP Exam Application Fee & Mode of Payment 2012 :

A crossed demand Draft / Banker’s Cheques issued on or after publication of Employees State Insurance Corporation Kanpur Advertisement, in favour of Regional Director, E.S.I. Corporation, Kanpur. Payable at Kanpur, for 225/- ( Rupees Two hundred twenty five only ) ; candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / Ex – Servicemen category as well as female applicants and employees of E.S.I. Corporation are exempted to pay any fee charges.

Note :

• Fee Charges once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Fee Charges paid by any other mode will not be accepted.

Scheme of ESIC Uttar Pradesh Examination 2012 :

The ESI Corporation Examination consisting of two parts, will be held at Kanpur or any other center to be decided based on the no. of Employees State Insurance Corporation Kanpur online applications received.

Part – I : The ESIC Kanpur Written Test will consist of one paper of 200 marks containing 04 parts :

• English Language
• General Intelligence
• Numerical ability and
• General Awareness.

There will be 50 questions in each part, each question carrying one mark. The questions in all the four parts will be objective type ( Multiple choice ). The ESIC Kanpur examination will be of 02 ( Two ) hours duration. For every wrong answers 0.25 marks will be deducted.

The ESI Corporation Kerala Recruitment 2012 reserves the right to admit only that much number of candidates as considered necessary for computer skill test, based on the performance of candidates in the Part – I ESI Corporation written test 2012.

Part – II : The candidates will have to appear for Computer Skill test either in English or in Hindi language as such they are advised to opt for the medium of ESI Corporation Kanpur examination carefully for Computer Skill Test in the ESIC Kanpur application form 2012. The Computer Skill Test shall comprise of following three parts :

• Preparation of two Power Points Presentations / Slides on MS – Power Points – 10 marks.
• Typing a letter / passage / paragraph of about 150 – 200 words in MS – Word – 20 marks.
• Preparation of Table / Database in MS – Excel – 20 marks.

The total marks of the Computer Skill Test shall be 50 ( Fifty ) with duration of 30 minutes for completing all the three parts. ( The candidates shall be given the Test / matter in the Question Paper which they have to type / reproduce in the Answer Sheet including formatting of text and use of formulae etc. as per instruction given in the ESIC Exam Question Paper 2012 ).

ESIC Uttar Pradesh Online Application Form 2012 :

Candidates should submit system generated hard copy of ESIC Kanpur online application duly signed by the candidate with attested photograph, by Group “A” & Group “B” Gazetted Officer, pasted on it and a crossed Demand Draft ( wherever applicable ) to be sent in an envelope superscribed ” ESI Corporation Application for the post of Upper Division Clerk 2011 ” by Registered post / Speed Post only at the following address :

Person with disability / Other Backward Classes / etc :

” Candidate belonging to General / SC / ST / OBC / Ex – Servicemen etc., who are suffering from visual acuity not exceeding 6 / 60 or 20 / 200 ( Snellen ) in the better eye with correcting lenses, limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degress or worse, candidates suffering from hearing loss more than 90 decibels in the better ear ( profound impairment ) and those who have not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and have to submit disability certificate on the prescribed proforma at the time of computer skill test. ” The candidates applying under OBC category must submit the certificate ( at the time of compute skill test ) in the form to be produced by other backward classes applying for appointment to the posts under the Government of India. The candidates belonging to only such castes / communities falling in the central list of the OBC prepared by Ministry of Social justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India are entitled for reservation in the services under the Government of India. The candidates who shall not be submitting the OBC certificate in the proforma prescribed for appointment to the posts under the Government of India shall not be considered for reservation under OBC category. ”
