Lady Doctor

Applications are invited for engagement of one having the under mentioned EQRs to be engaged at Ml Room, Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, Visakhapatnam on contract basis on consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- per month for one (01) year.

Application along with photocopies of all the certificates and testimonials & two copies of recent passport size photographs should be sent to The Director, NSTL, Vigyan Nagar, Visakhapatnam -530027 (AP) within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Qualification: Lady Doctor having MBBS Degree (preferable to have knowledge in Hospital and Health Systems Management with at least a diploma in Gynecology or Diabetology) Experience: Minimum experience of 15 years as practicing Doctor in Govt, or Defence Establishment/Civilian or Primary Care Physician.

Age: The age of applicant should not exceed 55 years as on the date of submission of application.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

(i) The appointee will be paid a consolidated payment of Rs. 60,000/- per month.

(ii) The appointee will be engaged for a period of one year based on requirement.

(iii) The appointee will be engaged in the laboratory of NSTL and will be functioning under the control of the Director, NSTL, Vigyan Nagar, Visakhapatnam in which the M.l. Room is located (six days a week - Monday to Saturday from 0830 hrs. to 1700 hrs.).

(iv) The department can terminate the contract even before the expiry of the fixed term if the services of the medical officer are not found to be satisfactory by Director, NSTL or till a regular Doctor is posted in NSTL.

(v) The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to her. The competent authority/Director, NSTL reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowance will be admissible in cases of such assignments.

(vi) The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendant Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, Housing, etc., or any other benefit available to the Government servants, appointed on regular basis.

(vii) Non-practicing allowance will not be admissible.

(viii) The appointee will not have any claim or right for regular appointment to any post under Central Govt. Health Scheme.

(ix) Only consolidated pay will be admissible. No dearness allowance or any other allowance is admissible to the appointee.

(x) The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the appointing office and shall not accept any other appointment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract.

(xi) The appointee is not entitled to any TA for joining at the place of posting on accepting appointment.

(xii) The appointee shall be allowed one day's Casual leave for every 30 days period of service and no encashment will be allowed. The leave due shall be calculated for each short term contract and no carry forward of leave will be allowed. In case of absence from duty, proportionate deductions will be made from the appointee's remuneration.

(xiii) Other conditions of service will be governed by relevant rules and orders issued from time to time.
