Qualifications: • Candidates applying for Apprentice under Library and Information Science discipline should have a Diploma in Library Science or a degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute. • Applicants for the Computer Science discipline must have a Degree in Computer Science (B.Tech only) from a recognized University/Institute. • Applicants for the Photography discipline must have a Diploma in Photography from a recognized Institute

Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), Bengaluru, a premier laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) invites applications from meritorious Indian Nationals for award of Research Fellowship as per details given below
Essential Qualification :
Research Associate - PhD in Material Science / Mechanical Engineering having expertise related to design analysis and testing of additive manufacturing components and advanced composite materials related to aerospace application to achieve light structures. OR M.E./M. Tech in first division in Materials, Mechanical, Additive Manufacturing discipline with minimum three year post M.E./M. Tech experience in research and design related to aircraft structures using advanced composite materials. Desirable: Additive Manufacturing, and Associated materials, Advanced composite materials related to airborne structural application.

Research Associate: Rs.54,000/- per month with applicable HRA and medical facilities as per rules. Junior Research Fellow: Rs.31,000/- per month with applicable HRA and medical facilities as per rules.

Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence is in process of recruitment of apprentices for one year training for financial year 2020-21. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates in the following subject disciplines.

Selection Procedure and Criteria: No interview will be held due to ongoing pandemic. Board constituted by the Director DESIDOC for the purpose will go through the applications, and shortlist the candidates (as per the vacancies indicated above) as per selection criteria.
Candidates will be selected strictly on the merit basis (percentage/marks of essential qualification). Only selected candidates will be informed through offer letter.
Enrollment under Apprentice Act 1961: It is mandatory for candidates to enroll themselves on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (http://portal.
