The selection will be made on the basis of performance in Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose UBGB Bank Recruitment online applications are received in time and who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for a Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank written test, which will be of objective type comprising the following :

Post Code – 1 and 2 – ( Officer Middle Management ( Scale – III and II ) ) :

Objective test :
Duration : 2 hours 30 minutes.

Post Code – 3 and 4 – ( Officer Junior Management ( Scale – I ) and Office Assistant ( Multipurpose ) ) :

Objective test :
Duration : 2 hours 30 minutes.

* Candidates can opt for either 4a or 4b ( General English or General Hindi )
** Marks will further be reduced to 70

For Post Code 1 to 4 wrong answers given in the objective test will result in negative marks.

The candidates securing a minimum of 40% marks in the UBGB Bank written test shall qualify for Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank interview 2012. In the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste or the Scheduled Tribe categories, the minimum marks in the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank written test shall be 35% to qualify for UBGB Bank interview 2012.

All those candidates who have secured minimum qualifying marks in Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank written examination in the order of merit, shall be called for UBGB Bank  interview upto the ratio 1:3. Mere eligibility / pass in the test shall not vest any right for being called for Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank interview2012.

The detailed information regarding the UBGB Bank written examination will be given in the “ Acquaint Yourself Booklet ” which will be sent to the candidates along with the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Exam call letters for the written examination 2012.

Final selection will be on the basis of the accorded, after adding the marks obtained in the UBGB Bank written test and interview 2012.

The Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank written test is tentatively fixed on the following dates. The exact date will be communicated to the candidates through UBGB Bank call letter for the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank examination 2012.

The UBGB Bank deserves the right to cancel or alter the date of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank examination 2012.

Name of UBGB Bank Exam Centres and Centre Codes :

The Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank 2012 written test will be scheduled at the following centers and the address of the venue will be advised in the UBGB Bank call letter 2012.

Note :

(i) Request for change of Centre of UBGB Bank Examination will not be entertained.

(ii) The Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Recruitment 2012 reserves the right to cancel any of the centre / or add other Centres, depending on the response, administrative feasibility etc. The UBGB Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate any centre other than the one he / she has opted for and the right to waive any of the criteria for selection looking at the requirement and exigencies.

Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Interview 2012 :

Those short listed candidates in the order of ranking in the UBGB Bank written test as per the cut – off marks determined by the Bank shall be called for Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank interview & the decision of the bank in this regard shall be final.

Candidates will have to produce a hard copy ( Printout ) of the filled in UBGB Bank Exam application form alongwith the following certificates ( photocopy for submission and originals for verification ) at the time of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank interview 2012 :

1. Secondary School certificate / School leaving certificates for proof of age.

2. Marks sheet ( year wise ) showing specially the subjects studied and certificate / s in support of educational qualification viz. SSLC / HSC / Graduate Degree, Post Graduation Degree, Professional / Research qualification etc.

3. A candidate belonging SC / ST / OBC / PC category should attach a certified copy of the SC / ST / OBC / PC certificates issued by the Component Authority in the prescribed format as prescribed by Government of India. In case of OBCs, the certificate inter alia must specify that the candidates should not belong to Creamy layer section excluded from the benefits or reservation for other backward class in civil post and services of Government of India, OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Recruitment application.

4. An Ex – serviceman candidate has to enclose a copy of the discharge certificate, retirement / pension order and documentary proof of rank last held.

5. Candidates serving in Government / Public Sector Undertakings ( including Banks ) should produce no objection certificate from their employer, at the time of UBGB Bank interview, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered.

6. Domicile of ______________ Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Pre – Examination Training ( PET ) 2012 :

It is proposed to impart free UBGB Bank Pre – Examination Training to limited candidates belong to SC / ST / Minority Community / Ex – Servicemen candidates at Muzaffarpur, ( Bihar ) tentatively.

The Training Centre may also be changed at the discretion of the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank. An eligible candidate who wishes to avail UBGB Bank Pre – Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank online application format. All expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will be borne by the candidate only for attending the Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank Pre – Examination Training Programme at the concerned training Centre.

The Candidates should download their UBGB Bank Pre – Examination Training call letter from Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank’s website www.ubgb.in by entering his / her details registration Number and Password / Date of Birth, between the following dates. No hard copy of the UBGB Bank Exam call letter will be sent by post.

For Officer Scale I, II and III : From 20.02.2012 to 25.02.2012.
For Office Assistant : From 04.02.2012 to 11.02.2012.

UBGB Bank Appointment 2012 :

For Post code 01, 02, 03 & 04 candidates selected for current vacancies shall be taken into the service in the descending order of merit as per the requirement of the UBGB Bank.

Probation :

Post Code – 01 : Officer Middle Management ( Scale III ) :: 02 years ( shall be extendable for 1 year ).
Post Code – 02 : Officer Middle Management ( Scale II ) :: 02 years ( shall be extendable for 1 year ).
Post Code – 03 : Officer Junior Management ( Scale I ) :: 02 years ( shall be extendable for 1 year ).
