Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Middle Management Grade ( Scale III ), Officer in Middle Management Grade ( Scale II ), Officer in Junior Management ( Scale I ) Cadre and Office Assistant ( Multipurpose ) from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Emoluments :

Scale III Officer :

At present the total starting emoluments are approx. 47994/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.

Scale II Officer :

At present the total starting emoluments are approx. 36229/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.

Scale I Officer :

At present the total starting emoluments are approx. 27028 /- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.

Office Assistant ( Clerk – cum – Cashier ) :

At present the total starting emoluments are approx. 15205/- per month inclusive of DA and HRA at the current rate.

Probation Period :

An officer directly appointed in the post shall be on probation for the period of two years, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding one year. An employee directly appointed in the post shall be on probation for the period of one year, which may be extended by the Appointing Authority for a period not exceeding six month.

Note :

It is clarified that Persons with Disabilities will have to work in Branches / Offices which have posts identified by the SKGB Bank as suitable for them.

Candidates belonging to Reserved Category, including Persons with Disabilities, for which no reservation has been announced, are free to apply for vacancies announced for Unreserved category provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down for Unreserved category. The number of SKGB Bank vacancies in UR category and also the number of reserved vacancies are provisional and may vary according to actual requirements of the SKGB Bank.

Service Bond :

Candidates selected for appointment to the cadre of Officer Scale I Scale II, Scale III have to execute a bond agreeing to pay to the SKGB Bank a sum of 100000/- in the event of their leaving the SKGB Bank’s job within a period of one year from the date of their joining.

Similarly, candidates selected for appointment to the cadre of Office Assistant ( Multipurpose ) have to execute a bond agreeing to pay to the SKGB Bank a sum of 50000/- in the event of their leaving the SKGB Bank’s job within a period of 1 year from the date of their joining. This will be in addition to the provisions of regulation 10 of Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank ( Officers and Employees ) Service Regulations – 2010.

Eligibility Criteria for Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank Recruitment 2013 :

Nationality / Citizenship :

A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Group Discussion/ Interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him / her.

Age Limit for Surguja Kshetriya Gramin Bank Recruitment 2013 ( As on 01.06.2012 ) :

Age Limit for Officer Scale III Recruitment in SKGB Bank 2013 : Below 40 years.

Age Limit for Officer Scale II Jobs in SKGB Bank 2013 : Above 21 years – Below 32 years.

Age Limit for Officer Scale I Vacancies in SKGB Bank 2013 : Above 18 years – Below 28 years.

Age Limit for Office Assistant Recruitment in SKGB Bank 2013 :Between 18 years and 28 years.

The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates.

Note :

(i) The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt. of India guidelines.

(ii) In case of a candidate who is eligible for relaxation under more than one of the above categories the age relaxation will be available on a cumulative basis with any one of the remaining categories for which age relaxation is permitted as mentioned above.

(iii) Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of SKGB Bank Interview.

(iv) Ex – Servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central Government in Group ‘ C ’ & ‘ D ’ will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for Ex – Servicemen for securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group ‘ C ’ / ‘ D ’ under the Central Government. However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation for Ex – Servicemen in Central Government jobs.

(v) An Ex – Servicemen who has once joined a Government job on civil side after availing of the benefits given to him as an Ex – Servicemen for his reemployment, his Ex – Servicemen status for the purpose of the reemployment in Government ceases.

Eligibility Criteria for SKGB Bank Jobs 2013 :

Educational Qualifications & Experience for SKGB Bank Vacancies 2013 ( as on 01.06.2012 ) :

Note I :

1. All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university / Board.

2. The result of the qualifying examination, i.e. Graduation or equivalent to graduation, as the case may be, should have been announced by the University on or before 01.06.2012.

3. Candidates should have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs Common Written Examination conducted in September 2012.

Note II :

For Officer Scale I and Office Assistant ( Multipurpose ) Language Proficiency.

* Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State / UT in which RRB is located and must have passed ” local language i.e. Hindi ” as one of the subjects at Matriculation / Xth Standard.
