Pawan Hans Limited was incorporated as a company on 15th October, 1985, first took to skies on 4th October, 1986 with the objective of providing helicopter support services to meet the requirements of petroleum sector by replacing foreign operators, providing services to connect remote and operating tourist charters with the objective to provide world class port services. It is a schedule ‘B’ CPSE under the administrative control of Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Its registered office is in New Delhi and Corporate office is at Noida (UP).
The authorized and paid up capital of the Company is Rs.560 crores and Rs.557.48 crores respectively as on 31st March, 2018.
The share holding by Govt, of India in PHL is 51% and ONGC is 49%.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Chairman and Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the company and is responsible to the board of Directors and Government of India. He / She is responsible for efficient functioning of the company for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
AGE: On the date of occurrence of vacancy
(i) Minimum 45 years.
(ii) Not more than 58 years for internal candidates and not more than 57 years for others.
The age of superannuation is 60 years.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The applicant should be a graduate from a recognized university with good academic record. He / She should possess experience of atleast 3 years in the post of GM equivalent or above in a PSU. The minimum length of experience at similar level for internal candidates is 2 years.
Persons preferably with Technical/ MBA qualifications and having experience in management and familiarity with Finance, Marketing, Production will have added advantage. Knowledge of Aviation industry is desirable. Overall work experience of 20 years and above is desirable.
The competent authority may relax any of the conditions of eligibility in deserving cases. III.

Executives holding posts in the pay scale of:
Rs.43200-66000 (IDA) post 01.01.2007 Rs. 100000-260000 (IDA) post 01.01.2017
Rs.37400-67000 + GP Rs. 10000 (CDA)
Rs. 144200-218200/- post 01.01.2016
(b) GOVERNMENT OFFICERS
Government officers of the level of Joint Secretary in Govt, of India or equivalent or Major General in the Army or equivalent rank in Navy/ Air Force, on the date of application will be eligible for consideration on immediate absorption basis.
4. DURATION OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment shall be for a period of 5 years or upto the date of superannuation or till the date of consummation of the disinvestment of PHL, whichever is earlier.
5. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
Prospective candidates from Central Public Sector and Government officers shall send their applications through proper channel in the format at Annexure-I.
The applications for various categories of the officers are routed through proper channel as follows:
a) For Government servants: through the cadre controlling authority
b) For CMDs/ MDs/ Directors in CPSE: through the concerned administrative Ministry
c) For below board level in CPSE: through the concerned CPSE.

6. CERTIFICATION BY CANDIDATE
a) Candidate has to submit his/ her willingness at the time of interview itself clearly stating that he/ she will join the post if selected. If any candidate does not initially give his/ her willingness he/ she will not be interviewed.
b) If any of the candidates who appeared for the interview and is selected by the Search Committee, gives his/ her unwillingness after the interview is held but before the appointment is processed would be debarred for a period of 2 years for being considered for a board level post in any PSE other than the one to which the candidate belongs.
c) if any candidate gives his/ her unwillingness after the issue of offer of appointment, he/ she would be debarred for a period of 2 years from the date offer of appointment from being considered for a board level post in any PSE other than the one to which the candidate belongs.
d) In the above cases, no request for relaxation or otherwise would be entertained.

Advertisement for the post of Secretary of the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA)
Applications are invited for selection to the post of Secretary, Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA), an Authority to regulate tariff and other charges for the aeronautical services rendered at airports, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of lndia.

The Government of India in the Ministry of Civil Aviation has constituted the Selection Committee for the purpose of selecting Secretary, Airports Economic Regulatory Authority under Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Secretary), Recruitment Rules, 2012.
Applications are hereby invited for consideration of the Selection Committee for selection of Secretary of the AERA in the Pay Band of Rs.37,400-67,000/- (PB-4 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000) (pre-revised), from officers under the Central Government:-
(A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or Department; or (ii) with three years' seruice in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the sca/e of pay or Rs. 37400-67000, Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 in P.B.- 4 (prerevised) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(B) having a minimum three (3) years'of experience in the field of aviation. Preference shall be given to the officers with suitable experience in airport economics and management. (Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed five years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the applications). 3. The appointment shall be made on deputation basis, for a maxlmum period of three years.
