It is proposed to engage Research Associates (RA) &  Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) in the National Seed Research and Training Centre (NSRTC), Varanasi on purely temporary / contractual basis as per details given below:

Research Associates (RA) - No. of Posts - 01 Post , Qualification/Experience - Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with specialization in Seed Technology / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Botany / Allied subjects. OR Master degree in Seed Technology / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Botany / Allied subjects with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least 02 years of research expereience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training/other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable Mode of Selection - Walk-in Interview , Duration  - Up to 31.03.2020 , Emoluments - Rs 40,000/- per month +HRA@16%

Senior Research Fellows (SRF)  - Vacancy - 02 Post , Qualification/Experience - Essential Qualifications : 1.Master degree in Seed Technology / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Biotechnology / Botany / Allied subjects , Mode of Selection  - Walk-in Interview , Duration  - Up to 31.03.2020  , Emoluments - Rs 28,000/- per month +HRA@16%

The upper age limit is 40 years for RAs & 35 years for SRFs with the relaxation for 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates. The fellowship will be terminated on 31.03.2020. The RAs/SRFs will be under the administrative control of the NSRTC. Candidate appeared for interview for the position will not be entitled for TA/DA.
