The 2030 Water Resources Group (2030WRG) will help the Maharashtra Government to raise $270 million from the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

India’s first Solar powered DEMU ( Diesel Electric Multiple Unit ) train was launched between Sarai Rohilla in Delhi to Farukh Nagar in Haryana.
Solar powered DEMU train would result in the saving of 5.25 lakh litres of diesel per train over a life time of 25 years. It will also help in reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) of almost 9 tonnes per coach, per annum and 1350 tons of CO2 per train over a life time of 25 years.

The Blood Bank for Cattle will be set up in Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) premises. The cost of the project is estimated as 3.25 crore.

ISRO Chairman A S Kiran told media after the successful launch of PSLV-C38 that Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle carried 712 Kg Cartosat-2 series satellite and 243 kg 30 co-passenger satellites to observe the Earth. The satellite mission was launched from the First Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. NIUSAT satellite is designed and developed by Noorul Islam University, Kanyakumari. The purpose of NIUSAT is to provide multi-spectral imagery for agricultural crop monitoring and disaster management support applications.
